Never in my life have I been inspired to leave a negative review for a restaurant. The balance of cost, quantity, and quality was abysmal. For some 39 or so bucks, I got, idk, 6 ravioli and a 2″ x 2″ piece of flavorless salmon. I was not impressed by the flavor, and I was shocked by quantity. Unfortunately, the cost is exactly what I expected from a place that looks so nice, but you just can’t eat vibes.
The waitress was good at her job, though. I have nothing bad to say about the staff.

We had an amazing experience at Villa Dolce! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was excellent from start to finish. We ordered the arancini, the prosciutto and arugula pizza, the butternut squash Tortellini, and finished off with some delicious gelato. Every dish was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. It’s clear they use high-quality, fresh ingredients. We’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

I visited this restaurant twice and had the same disappointing experience each time. I was told there were no open seatings, but no one offered any information on reservations or when spots might open.I came back during the daytime, the same thing happened. I decided to order to-go, but the staff still didn’t seem friendly or welcoming.
The food is also very expensive. Even a simple Caesar salad was $16. One lady eventually stepped in to help me, and she was kind and seemed to understand what was going on. I appreciated her, but it didn’t make up for how uncomfortable and unwelcome I felt. My son was with me both times and witnessed the entire situation, which made it even more disappointing.

Such a nice place. Slightly expensive, but very worth it. The food was delicious, I had a pizza, and tried some of their pasta. And their gelato was perfect. Every dessert came with a chocolate covered strawberry, which was so good. You can’t go wrong with whatever you order

Very delicious we got their brussel appetizer, a pizza, and pasta. We got seated right away and the food came quickly! I’d recommend! I was too full for dessert but there were many delicious looking options that I plan to leave time for next time!

We found this place looking for a good looking restaurant after driving to town for a weekend trip — and then ate some of the best Italian food we’ve had.
Waitstaff was all kind and courteous, despite being slammed! Every cocktail and dish we ordered was delicious and we were so happy we found this place!
I was struggling to pick a drink (because seriously, all of the cocktails sounded delicious) and our server gave me a great rundown of what she liked about the two drinks I was deciding between. We also thought all of the appetizers sounded delicious and so asked her which was her favorite and it was some of the best bruschetta I’ve had.
Our entrees were also delicious, and since we took a bit of a leisurely pace eating, we were able to save room for their delicious créeme brûlée and they even have an espresso bar so we were able to sip espressos while we had dessert.
Wonderful experience and delicious food. What a gem!

One of my favorite Italian places in Madison so far! It’s on the fancy side but isn’t too expensive, so it’s perfect for a date night or nice dinner out. My friend & I got the Arancini and Margherita pizza to share, and it was enough for two. Highly recommend the Margherita pizza, tasted very fresh and the crust was light & airy. Ended the night with some Pink Grapefruit gelato (perfect amount of tang & sweet and a great way to follow up a heavier meal). Overall, great food, lovely atmosphere, and pretty good service! Can’t wait to come back!
