Absolutely delicious Vietnamese seafood and such an authentic experience! From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Every dish tasted incredibly fresh and full of flavor, you can really tell the ingredients are high quality and prepared with care.
If you’re craving real Vietnamese seafood, this spot is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Love this place, we need this in the sgv, most thorough menu.
We had an incredible meal here! If you’re looking for authentic, flavor-packed Vietnamese street food and “món nhậu,” this is the spot.
The Bun Bo Hue was a standout—the broth had that perfect balance of spicy, salty, and lemongrass aromatics. We also loved the squid salad; the texture was spot on, fresh, and incredibly refreshing.
One of the best parts of the menu is their variety of snails (oc). Each preparation was unique, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. It really captures the experience of a traditional Vietnamese snail bar.
Highly recommend for anyone wanting a great atmosphere and even better food. We’ll definitely be back!

Solid Vietnamese restaurant serving dishes beyond just the standard pho. Its street and edgy food of Vietnam. Squid mango salad soooo good! The dipping sauce is heaven. This place reminds me of a sister restuarant in Westminster. Seasoning, spice, and taste is on point. Welll definitely be a regular

Discovered Oc A Chay in SGV tonight and boy did it hit the spot! It was DELICIOUS! They’ve only been open for two weeks so they are still in their soft opening for another month. They aren’t serving a full menu yet, and have been running out of stuff, so if you do go, please be patient and be kind. Our server Andy was wonderful. Made some amazing recommendations that we went with and everything was perfection. Service was excellent. There was a wait, but the food was definitely worth the wait. We really enjoyed our food and I’m so happy that we don’t have to go down to OC anymore to get some fabulous seafood. We will definitely be back! We really enjoyed our oysters with cheese, scallops with quail eggs and roe, stir fried glass noodles with crab and mango squid salad. Can hardly wait to try more of their menu! Andy told us that in a month, when they have their grand opening (mid December’25) they will be having a DJ on Friday and Saturdays. It will definitely be the happening spot!

Great place to enjoy some great vietnamese dishes. Their location in orange county is far for me, but this is my favorite place now, it’s closer to me and the service is excellent. Good prices, excellent food and excellent service.

The staffs here are so friendly and always take care of their customers. The food is fire. We came on grand opening day and got 20% off, which was so nice. If you’re looking for a place to eat snails, I highly recommend this restaurant.

Amazing Vietnamese Comfort Food!
Ốc A Chảy in San Gabriel is an absolute gem! The menu is full of authentic Vietnamese dishes with bold flavors and generous portions. I tried their Bún bò Huế , and it was outstanding — the broth was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with spice. The meat was tender and the noodles cooked just right.
Their appetizers are also worth mentioning — the fried quail eggs, sweet potatoes, and butter-fried frog legs were all delicious and perfectly crispy. You can really tell they put care into every dish.
The restaurant is clean and cozy, with friendly service that makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. Whether you’re craving noodle soup, seafood, or grilled dishes, Ốc A Chảy delivers authentic taste that reminds you of home cooking in Vietnam.
Definitely one of the best Vietnamese spots in the San Gabriel area — I’ll be coming back soon to try more from their menu!

This new restaurant was the highlight of my day. As a professional chef, Vietnamese food is one of my favorites from their fresh herbs and delicious recipes handed down generation after generation. What is unique here is the Vietnamese dishes you cannot find at similar restaurants. Also the love that is tasted in each dish. The chef truly has the best interest of the customer here as the dishes are not only masterly cooked but presented in a fine dining experience without the higher prices. There is so much value here and the smiling staff members show that even they are excited being there. This is my new go to for amazing Vietnamese dishes that warm not only my stomach but my heart understanding the cultural beauty of the people of Vietnam. Here are the dishes I ordered….Squid mango salad. Charcoal grilled beef. Garlic butter baby octopus. Razor clams. And crab vermicelli. Each was cooked to perfection. I look forward to many more visits and tasting many other delicious dishes

My dad is a Chinese born and raised in Vietnam (Hoa), so I grew up eating this kind of food.
My original plan was to go somewhere else today on Lunar New Year’s Eve. Unfortunately, I couldn’t since there were too many people there.
So, Oc A Chay became my Plan B. I remembered reading about this place on the Internet when they first opened up last year. Originally from OC, this is their second location. I always wanted to stop by. I decided today would be my first time trying it out.
Firstly, I don’t know what they put in their bun bo hue, but it’s SO good! The broth is strong and hearty, perfect for a rainy day like it was today! I also got the lobster tails and those were flavored properly! In the end, I’m happy I found this restaurant for good Vietnamese food that doesn’t require a drive to the OC.
Will be back when craving Viet food in this area!

Good bun bo hue! No longer need to waste life driving to the OC to eat Quan Mii! Lots of great food options that traditional Vietnamese restaurants in the area do not have. Recommend Canadian snails over Vietnam ones. Had dinner here last night but liked it so much came back to order take out tonight!
