Been to McAlister’s Deli before in other areas but this was our first trip to the location in Mooresville. Overall, we had a really good experience. We ordered the pick two and got a Pecanberry Salad with a Jalapeno Turkey Crunch sandwich along with a Caesar Salad with a Spicy Southwest Chicken sandwich. The food tasted great and the prices were just as good. The service was somewhat slow but there was only one person working the counter and also a lot of to-go orders being placed. We will definitely be back again!

My husband and I just bought 2of the worst salads ever made. We also purchased 3 cookies that are hard as a rock. I will never return. This was their last chance and they failed. My lettuce was brown. We ordered out so it’s not feasible to take it and shove it in their face. See if they would eat it.

The customer service was wonderful. The restaurant was clean and quiet. The sandwich and soup was great. The salad lettuce needed some help, it looks like it had been sitting out. It did not look fresh. The toppings were ok though

Wonderful sandwiches with a wide variety of options. Service was friendly and not too slow. We only had to wait a little for our sandwiches. Hot roast beef with horseradish could have used a little more horsepower, or at least some more on the side. The place was clean and large enough to seat many people.

Just had the worst experience asked cashier the reason for being charged for extra Ceasar dressing, her response was, ” because that’s what we do!.” I explained I never was charged before. I asked to speak to the manager she said im a lead. I asked again. She called the manager. Kayla. I asked the cashier’s name she said no. I said is there a reason I can’t have your name? Pamela (old blonde lady) behind th cooking area yelled she a child. I said ok. I didn’t say anything wrong. The Manager Kayla had to ask Pamela 5xs to leave the area. Kayla explained they have a new system and it now rings up that way. I said ok, thank you. Then she says the cashier was not trying to be rude. I explained she was. She continued to make excuses for her. I said may I please have a refund? I dont spend money where I’m not respected. She said sure. Then the cashier walked up to my child and said, im coming through. I said, excuse me is the proper way to ask someone to move. I received my refund, then Kayla says the cashier is autistic. I said thats not an excuse to be ride. Then I started to walk out. I heard someone yell ” Don’t Come Back!” I turned around and asked im sorry what did you say. Pamela came from the back and said don’t come back again. I said to the manager you’re going to allow her to yell at me. She then stated don’t come back. I said I wasn’t coming back after all this unprofessional behavior. They then said they were. Calling the cops. I said call who you want. I turned around and left. All this because I asked for a reason for an extra charge. Wow. Lastly Kayla stated she’s the GM and nothing will happen to her.

First and last time here. The cashier made a mistake on my order and gave 6 inch sandwich when I asked for the full size. Then when I said I wanted the 12 inch, they tried charging another 6 inch price making the sandwich cost 26 dollars! When I said I want to pay 16 dollars for the sandwich, not 26, they reluctantly did a refund on the original order THEY messed up. I did say I wanted the big size. Do not choose this branch unless you want to get ripped off. Horrible customer service

We have been getting the Savannah Chopped salad as takeout for years. It has always been fresh and tasty, but tonight it was barely edible! The tomatoes and cranberries were left off and the lettuce and chicken were not fresh.

Ordered southwest chicken sandwich and tortilla soup. Sandwich came out cold and tasteless. Soup was ok. Service was kind of slow, even though not many people at that time.

The Mooresville McAllisters has the worst staff of any restaurant I have ever been to! Three times now we have asked for my daughter’s sandwich to be heated again because it was cold and they were so ugly about it. She apologized for asking for it to be heated! We shouldn’t be made to feel that way when you are a paying customer you want your food right! Owners I hope you read the comments! I see now why the restaurant isn’t busy! You need to clean house and get you some staff with a personality and manners and care about their job and serving people! Funny how they can stand up there and cut up with each other and ignore the customers! The older blonde lady is the worst! You should apologize to my daughter! And many others I have watched you be ugly too!

Update, restaurant manager reached out and apologized and attempting to make it right so I’m modifying my review to reflect that.
Apparently this is what passes for soup at this place. It was more like refried beans. Wont be ordering from this place again.
