We had a great experience at The Citrus Room Prime Steakhouse. Everything including the atmosphere, the service, the drinks and the food exceeded our expectations. We started out with some inventive cocktails which were customized to our liking. We got the CiCi’s Crostini Creations as an appitizer and they were really delicious. For our entrees, we got the Delmonico Steak and Collosal Shrimp. The steak was one of the best we have had. Both dishes were cooked perfectly and gave us that rare “wow” experience. We had no room to eat the deserts but they boxed them for us and they were delicious even the following day. Very highly recommend this place!

What a beautiful gem in Dade City, FL! My husband and I made a reservation online and went for a date night. The atmosphere was great from the start. Our server, Kyle, was perfect and so helpful for my gluten free needs. I was able to enjoy the Cowgirl Ribeye without the sauce that normally comes with it to make it GF and he proactively let me know what baked potato and salad toppings were gluten free, along with the flourless chocolate cake! I felt so “safe” and not like a burden thanks to their attentiveness. I enjoyed a blackberry mojito mocktail. Their salad and baked potato toppings come on the side which is great so you can add more or less of what you prefer. Thank you, Citrus Room for a lovely and safe dinner! Can’t wait to go back.

Last year we celebrated our anniversary at a big steakhouse in Tampa. This year we stayed local and we loved it. We had a wonderful server, delicious drinks and exceptional food! It was quaint and close to home. We will be back. Thank you for the great experience!

From the reviews I expected SO much more.
Room,decor and service is what I expected from a high end restaurant. The food was not.
Ny Strip and Lamb Chops were both severely over salted. We ate less then half and “took the rest home.” Fido will be happy.
Baked potatoes on the hard side of done and barely warm. Didn’t melt the already soft butter.
Dessert was good. No complaints there.

When I heard about a prime steak house in Dade city I was very surprised. I went online and made a reservation. The ambience of the whole place was modern but classic all at the same time. I got a mom and pop feel with the entree coming with a salad, potato and a desert. But with an elevated experience with the lighting and attention to detail. The beautifully plated dishes and high end service of a big city restaurant. The Delmonico steak was cooked very good. The cocktails are very well made. Definitely recommend to come here anytime you are looking for a beautiful dinner with loved ones or friends.

I started with a blackberry mojito that paired perfectly with my fresh salad topped with Parmesan dressing, light, refreshing, and a great way to open the meal. From there, I went all in on the 14 oz bison ribeye, and it did not disappoint. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly to let the natural flavor of the bison shine, with a beautiful char on the outside and tender, juicy meat inside.
For dessert, I had the apple butter cheesecake, which was rich, spiced just right, and the ideal way to finish. I also ordered an Eagle Rare bourbon, not to rush through but to sip slowly and complement the steak.
The service was excellent, attentive, respectful, and paced just right. The whole experience felt elegant but comfortable.

Terrible experience from service, to flavor, to quality. Ordered the toast-let appetizer, the octopus tasted spoiled, ordered the lobster bisque which tasted from a can. The only decent thing was my girlfriend’s filet and the duck was mediocre at best. But the overall bill was ~200 – I do not recommend. Also wanted to add the waiter was very unenthusiastic nor did they seem happy to be there.
