Food and service on the Sunday afternoon that we were there was both very good, and that’s with a crowd all coming in at one time after church. The lunch menu was available on a Sunday afternoon, but you did have to pay a little extra to order from it. That said, the lunch menu is still cheaper than the dinner menu, but your choices are a little more limited. Mixed drinks were 2 for 1 on the day we were there, but I didn’t notice if that was every Sunday.

We were so excited about going the the “restaurant rave” place; however, it was such a disappointment we’d rather eat at Taco Bell or the Golden Hibachi Restaurant on 1st Ave. This was the 1st time my husband felt sad eating at a Mexican restaurant. He is Mexican and he said, “If anyone thinks this from do good, they have no idea what Mexican cuisine is supposed to taste like”. The waitress tried to make things better and had the AMAZINGLY graceful attitude, and the owner was a disgrace to the Mexican heritage. The margherita I ordered (Watermelon drone an lime watermelon mix were bitter and the flavors were not there, it was mostly alcohol. We brought our two autistic sons for a well-deserved back-to-school-beginning break. Our fourteen-year-old son ordered the stuffed quesadilla, he had no issues. Our thriteen-year-old ordered the chicken quesadilla; he reported the chicken had great flavor but the cheese was extremely American processed. My soda reported that the waitress should be the owner. My husband orders the birria pizza, I ordered the birria tacos (corn); the cheese was American processed. My sons got stomach aches, my husband and I got sick, almost an hour after eating. The owner/manager whomever she was (she did not introduce herself) was not courteous and stated, “We have always used American sliced cheese”. We have never been to this restaurant before. If you want real authentic Mexican food, go to Marco’s Mexican Restaurant on GA 133, Don Julio’s on Veterans Pkwy and Dos Gallos on GA 133. Not to mention, the cost was over $100 for fake cheese and small servings, not worth it. As my sons stated the best thing was the chips, the dips had no seasoning. We were so mad, and sick, our words could not describe the disappointment. I’m still trying to get the oil of the birria tacos off My lips. We took the food home, and our dogs barely tolerated the food. They are very slowly and preferred dogfood. The decorations were the star attraction.

This place is a wonderful addition to Moultrie. While some people mention that there are many Mexican restaurants in town, it’s important to recognize that Moultrie thrives thanks to the hard work, culture, and presence of the Mexican and Latin communities. It’s only natural—and very welcome—that their food, traditions, and flavors are part of the local dining scene.
Beyond that, this restaurant truly stands out. The staff is consistently friendly and welcoming, the service is always fast and efficient, and the food quality never disappoints. There’s a great variety on the menu, and the consistency from visit to visit is impressive.
Everything is excellent, but the tortilla chips and sauces are especially addictive, and Kate’s Plate is an absolute favorite. Reliable, welcoming, and delicious—this spot for sure deserves a five stars and is a true asset to the city of Moultrie.

Food tasted fine at best, but the prices where incredibly steep for what it tasted like. For example queso should not cost 8 dollars and be the most watery and tasteless while cheese on earth(queso from a stadium is cheeper and taste better than this).

Staff was great and very quick and kind with everything so I would give them that.

Overall I would not recommend this restaurant to another person.

If you go during a slower time the food and service is much better. When they are at peak, you can tell everything is rushed. Overall a good resteraunt with enough different dishes to differentiate itself from the other 20 mexican in moultrie

Started off good. After getting tab we were charged for resposado( top shelf)but ordered Jose Cuervo Gold. Was charged 6 dollar for a splash of sprite in my Fiancé’s drink (24 dollars for 2 shots of Hennessy)
Bartender said that is what the Managers told her to charge us. Manager came and made up some fairytale about how Tequila is made. Julio’s is gonna get our money from now on. They can make it right (yall see this) and give us our money back.

We had a fantastic experience ! The food was absolutely delicious—full of flavor and clearly made with care. But what really stood out was the service. Our server Marcus ,was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout the meal. He went out of his way to make sure our kids were comfortable and happy, which made a big difference for us as a family, he truly made our visit special. It’s not often you find both amazing food and genuinely warm service in one place. We’ll definitely be coming back!

The food is amazing. Prompt, hot and delicious. Unfortunately they just got a bit overwhelmed. Come the weekend and service was a bit lacking. But during the week they are spot on. Definitely recommend
