Fine Wine source is not just a source of fine wine where unique wines can be purchased at wonderful prices… a visit there is an education as to why each wine variety is distinct from others PLUS which producers of each wine variety make each variety great. And, none of that is available to the wine purchaser or enthusiast without the education provided by the owner, Mr. Lutfy (a real authority on wine specifics) and his very knowledgeable staff. At the end of the day, my friend, you get much more than you pay for as in this place’s priceless education comes not only free but also with kindness and extreme knowledge on the subject.

Hands down my go to spot for wine! Jim, Igor, Derek and the gang are not only knowledgeable, but they’re very friendly too! And while you can easily find bottles of wine for $200 or more, they have plenty of less expensive options that won’t break the bank.
Finally their Wine of the Month club is also a great value; for $30 a month, you get two bottles of wine, but also get case pricing on all your purchases.
All in all, it’s a great place to shop!

I have been to quite a few wine stores in Michigan and this one stands out head and shoulders above the rest. The experience of visiting the store is unique in a way that *you must see for yourself*. The owner and staff make a trip to the store into “an experience” instead of “a shopping” trip. Prices are great and selection is curated. Since I started shopping here, FWS has allowed me to stop playing “wine roulette” and I started drinking only wines I know I will enjoy.

Jim, Igor and Dare – they are the Grand Crew of Grand Cru! Knowledgeable, but without the pretention. You walk in a customer, walk out familia. In a small amount of time and physical space, they manage to take you and your palate on a tour of the Loire Valley, France or maybe they just talk dirt(y)/terroir. Wine lovers know why we love wine. These guys bring it out in us! Walk in, have a taste, go home with a unique bottle. Bienvenu a le club!

Stopped in for the first time today and had the best damn experience. Everyone in the store, from the staff to the other customers, was in a great mood. Staff was incredibly helpful and assisted me in selecting 4 bottles within my limited budget. I got to try every bottle I ended up purchasing (and a bunch more!). Good vibes all around!

This is a wine store you go to when you want a special bottle of wine. An old Bordeaux or Burgundy, a rare cult Cabernet or super Tuscan. My girlfriend and I spent a great deal of time talking with a very knowledgeable staff member. I got a great Sauternes style wine for $20 and was happy.

The Lutfy Family are some of Detroit’s finest. The wine club is incredible thanks to Jim and Remy’s hand picks. The wines they make with Nationally known winemakers is impressive and there is always a great bottle or case waiting for…you just don’t know it yet.
