I went here for my birthday a couple days ago and was really hoping to love it. Me and my boyfriend each got the $140 omakase, but they were having a great BOGO deal so it was only $70/each!
Ambiance: The restaurant was very modern and cute. We sat at the bar and expected to have an interactive omakase.
Food: I thought the food itself was super yummy. The sushi sizes were quite small, but I enjoyed every bite.
Service: This is what fell short for me. As someone who loves omakase and has been to many, I really expected more. (1) The pacing of the omakase itself was way too slow and the service felt confused. The female server was very nice and friendly, but everyone else was kinda mehhh. (2) At the end of our meal, no one told us it was over. Usually, an omakase finishes with a sweet course so that’s what we were waiting for. Instead, we were given ramen and then just sat there waiting for so long because no one said that was the last course. (3) I had specificied that it was my birthday and not a single person greeted me, or even asked me why we were there. They didn’t do anything to make my birthday feel special and I’m actually kinda sad I had my birthday dinner here, when I could’ve gone somewhere else much more welcoming.
Price: If I had to pay $140/each for that omakase experience, I would greatly say it was not worth it. Thankfully, since they had the BOGO deal, paying $70/each wasn’t so bad for an overall mid experience.

Had a reservation at 7:30 pm, me and my guest ordered the 95$ omakase option and by 9:00pm we had only gotten through the 4 first pieces. While the food itself is decent and the presentation is nice, the management here is insanely terrible and even though they were very busy on valentines day, there is no excuse to why it has been 3 hours and we have not gotten our food yet. The food in of itself had some decent flavor combos but it was extremely mediocre and most definitely not worth 95$. There is little to no organization here and i hope they can eventually work through it but as of now i do not recommend this dining experience.

An above-average traditional omakase experience, but the food quality at times leaves a bit to be desired. We came here for my mother’s birthday, and were greeted with excellent service and welcoming atmosphere. They started us off with two appetizers, a miso soup and steamed egg bowl. Both of these were misses, to be honest. The half-cooked sushi in the soup left me with a weird contrast of flavors, and the addition of roe and raw fish in the steamed egg gave an oddly fishy taste to the dish.

Afterwards, came the sushi – which was all pleasantly surprising. All the ingredients were imported directly from Japan, so you could really taste the distinct Japanese flavors come out with every piece. Some standouts include – the eel, A5 wagyu, fried shrimp, toro, and maki. I would’ve liked a bit more time in between courses to savor each piece, but I also appreciated the speed at which the chefs made them so none of us were ever hungry.

All in all, a pretty good experience. I just think the appetizers need a little work. Maybe something simpler like a classic miso soup with egg tamaki would’ve been better for the palette.

We were visiting from New York because we wanted to try a new place. We’ve been to a lot of omakase, and I know it’s Jersey so I kept my expectations low but the first red flag was when I asked the server what was in the nigiri set he said salmon, mackerel, tuna and he didn’t really seem to know the rest. It also wasn’t a typical omakase where the chef made the food in front of you and handed the each piece freshly made so I decided to not get it. My bf did though and the waiter didn’t even explain what was in his food just dropped it off. Some pieces were good some were okay according to him. I got the sushi and sashimi deluxe set and it was okay, but you can tell some pieces were a little dry because it was probably sitting out for a while. It didn’t taste as fresh as I’m used to.

Normally I wouldn’t even leave a review for mediocre/ average food we just won’t come back but the service was so BAD. We waited an hour to even get food. We were one of the first batch of people in the restaurant, it shouldn’t have taken that long. It’s Valentine’s Day we tried to be understanding, but when the korean couple who came an hour after us got their food right away, and even got the second omakase plate before my bf that’s when I had to say something. (Me and my bf are obviously not Korean) They also never gave him his third appetizer and when I asked the waiter he said I’m going to take a look then never came back. They never once refilled water or even checked by to ask how the food was. We were there for more than 2 hours and more than half of it was waiting for food and bad service. When we left there was a huge crowd waiting at the door. They were at least an hour late on reservations already I imagine the people after us were probably waiting 2 hours at least for food.

If you live in NY don’t go here and if you live in Jersey also don’t go here or please try omakase in NY for the same price point the service and food will be much better.
