Sometimes you walk into a place and think to yourself “how have I not been in here before?” and that’s exactly what happened to me last night. Holy cow this place is a GEM!
The space is welcoming and wonderfully decorated. There are plenty of places to sit- couches, tables, or the bar PLUS an outdoor space that opens up to a dreamy and cozy patio. I found a comfy couch and enjoyed flipping through some of the books they’ve got out there.
I ordered the “Girl Dinner” which was truly the perfect meal- a caesar salad, fries, and a couple chicken tenders + some homemade dips including a basil pesto. Everything was fresh, delicious, and went perfectly with the orange wine I chose from their HUGE drink menu.
The service couldn’t have been better, either. Everyone working was absolutely wonderful.
These folks have done a truly stellar job at creating a fun, inclusive space. The kind of place I want to tell EVERYONE about because I need them to be around forever <3

From the moment I stepped in I knew I was going to love it. The owner was behind the bar and was so knowledgeable but also fun to talk too; the other patrons there were friendly and the music was just perfect for the vibe. The place is just perfect with their beer and wine selection and all the stylers were just perfect. You can tell this is a passion, not just a paycheck to all involved. And what’s more you can tell the owner has big ideas and wants to get involved with the community. You don’t get that with a lot of places. I’ll be back for sure!

Great little wine shop to hit up when in Mew Albany. Always a good selection of wines by the glass or bottles to take home. I haven’t eaten here yet so no opinion on the food. Bartender is very knowledgeable about his products and I always appreciate that.

The kind of hospitality that makes you forget where you are in the world, these folks will be introducing you to your new favorite. You could spend HOURS learning about their delicious, to-die-for selection. Would absolutely live here if I could.

Very neat spot, great selection of quality wine and beer. The service was phenomenal, the staff are so down to earth, very knowledgeable about the products they offer as well as very conversational with any questions you may have. I’m going to be purchasing all my wine here from now on. Loved the vibe and music, and there is some really cool New Albany history about the building. You have to check this place out!

We love the Wine Shop so much! I didn’t used to be much of a wine drinker but the owners have helped me find great wine that suits my taste- and have even found some that my beer drinking husband loves as well! They still also have beer when that’s what he wants- and great non alcoholic options too!
We love when they have pop-up food trucks and other fun events. It’s a gem.

The Wine Shop is a cool little establishment. We went with a group to celebrate a birthday. I really like their wine; however, the $20 corking fee for a bottle of wine purchased and consumed there was outlandish! Then they added the tip based on the bottle and the corkage fee. Our wonderful $20 bottle of wine ended up costing us $64. As wonderful as the experience was with my friends, I will not be back. Very disappointed .

I highly recommend Wine Shop. Such a wonderful place to meet up with friends, have a date night, or chat with the bartender. The owner is personable and knows her wine selection. Seriously, tell her what you like and she can find a wine that fits your tastes. They have special events so check their socials and they have a tasty menu of items to go with your wine or beer.

Such a great place! If you’re looking for something off the beaten path & looking for a cool spot to relax and grab a glass of wine Lauren and Jason are so knowledgeable and determined to find something you like they have a variety of snacks in addition to wine. The whole atmosphere with thier expertise makes you feel like you’ve found the perfect glass of wine while drinking with friends
