I didn’t get their chicken, I got a tenderloin sandwich. It was good. The fries were also good. Only problem is, I dint see a public restroom or tables. I took my food down to the park to eat. Only a couple minutes away. I will be back to try the chicken.

We drove 30 mins for the great reviews to try this chicken. When we arrived there was one other person in the store. After his order was taken, it was probably 5 mins or so before we were even greeted. A nice “welcome in- I’ll be with you in a few minutes ” goes a long way. But, once we were acknowledged, we ordered chicken sandwiches. Had I known it would take almost 30 mins, we would have gotten the regular friend chicken that was already cooked.
It would have been nice to know that the sandwiches were going to take awhile before we locked in our order.
Also, no mushrooms today. And, I overheard a customer trying to order mushrooms after us, and he stated there hasn’t been mushrooms the last 3 weeks he has been in. Chicken is ok, probably won’t be back.

Delicious flavor, fresh and juicy, only criticism if I have to find any is maybe it could’ve been a smidgen warmer – but it was NOT cold by any means.
Bottled soda selection was good and the price fair! Takeout only, I had a car picnic at the park nearby.

UPDATE: Credit where credit is due. I have enjoyed three subsequent excursions to this establishment. Each was at a peak time and service was prompt and the tenders fresh. Luck of the draw, or a genuine change for the better; but I have no complaint about my last three visits. Granted, thats still a 50% overall success rate, but I have faith that things will continue.

They don’t seem to be rotating the chicken. We’ve got a bunch of tenders for dinner three times since they opened and 2 out of the three have seemed like leftovers from lunch. Very dry, very stringy. Tonight’s were flat inedible. When fresh, they are great, but so far very disappointed with the Sheridan expansion.

This place is part of Wilson’s Farmers Market. While they have a downsized menu, what they do have tastes great. It is takeout only. I stop there once or twice a week.

Fast, friendly service. The food is delicious! We have been looking for a restaurant close by that serves fried chicken. We will definitely be going back! Nice, clean take out restaurant.

The food here is actually amazing, highly recommend the fish sandwhich! Still have dreams about it lol! The service here is awesome! Jay especially brings good vibes and is always working hard! And just love the overall atmosphere of the shack! Sheridan needs more food places like this! 10/10
