Came in wed night for a few drinks. Had some mellow live rock music. It was great. Great Woody ambiance with some great lighting. It must be amazing with some snowfall and a Guinness. Nice big windows. Ill be back.

By far the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. The entire place was jam packed with people, the food was sub par at best. I ordered a cheese burger, fries and a root beer. The burger was okay, yet the bun wasn’t toasted at all, and it was very chewy, the service was also sub par. It took over half an hour for them to bring me my single bottle of root beer. In the servers defense, they are understaffed. The entire establishment was packed with teenagers, it was extremely loud. I could maybe look past these facts if the main problem didn’t exist. half an hour after leaving, I got the worst food poisoning of my life. This had happened to me years ago. I hoped it would be better this time, as I went to celebrate a friends birthday. I felt sicker than I had ever been in my life, if I could give a rating below one star I would. DO NOT GO HERE EVER!

Came here for lunch and was good for what we were looking for at the time. The staff were amazing and extremely attentive. Food wasn’t worth the price. The caprese sandwich fell apart immediately from huge tomatoe slices, the salad was mid.

This was my first time here. The server Clara was awesome. The BLTs were excellent. 3 of us got different sides with our BLTs. I chose coleslaw. I got food poisoning. I blame the coleslaw. It was warm. Probably sitting unrefrigerated or something.

The food and drinks were very good especially the mazzarella with an amazing sauce. The black horse tavern brew was also outstanding because it was flavorful and tasty without being too heavy. The fish-and-chips was good but I would have preferred more fish and fewer chips.
Parking is available after hours at the transit station parking lot across the street. Otherwise parking can be expensive if you plan to stay for a while.
The only negative was the attitude of the waitresses. I should have checked other Yelp reviews Which mentioned the same characteristic among the wait staff.

Great place. Had heard lots of good things and after lunch today I can confirm they were correct about this place. A little pricey (it is Winchester), but great food and great service. Will definitely be back again!

Visiting Winchester from out of state. Saw this place as we were getting off our train. Our server was super nice! Our food was quick and delicious. Great environment. Definitely will be back if we visit this area again.

We’ve been a couple of times, and their food is delicious and their service is great. Both times we got the Juicy Lucy burger and the Steakhouse burger, excellently prepared and high quality ingredients. The fries and onion rings are top shelf, too. I’m sure the rest of the menu is just as good, it’s quite varied and has exciting options (we just know what we like). In the summer we sat outside, it was a great table with pretty flowers and a good umbrella. For Valentine’s Day we came at opening and there was no wait, but it got busy and really noisy really fast and everyone brought their toddlers. I think from now on we’ll come in the warmer months and eat outside.

The gluten free bun was awesome, super moist. I got the Ruben and it was minced meat not slices but it was pretty good. My partner got the SW chicken wrap and said it was pretty good.
