One of my absolute favorite places to eat. The food is always really good, I love their cocktails, especially the grand cosmo and Christmas lemondrop, Yum! Honestly I cant say enough about the service, I always leave there, very happy and very full.

Great food and solid service. This place does get busy, which is usually a good sign. They have both hibachi grills and a sushi bar, so there’s a lot of variety depending on what you’re in the mood for.
The veggies are always fresh and well cooked, and everything tastes clean and flavorful. Service has been consistently good, even when it’s crowded.
A reliable neighborhood spot for hibachi or sushi when you want something tasty without fuss.

Nice Hibachi place in Louisville. Food tastes good, specially their egg rice is way delicious, sauce used for Hibachi preparations is good too.
Although the chef which we got, was not doing any Hibachi tricks which other places performs to entertain the customers.
Ambience is average with economical pricing.
Must try their Mochi Ice creams.

The Happy Sunday rolls are pretty good. We also had the hibachi filet. It wasn’t worth the $27 price tag. The vegetable spring roll was packed with cabbage and carrot. Very satisfied with the ratio of the veg roll. Overall, good experience. I dont have to revisit

We were visiting from out of town and were looking for a hibachi place around Louisville. After trying a competitor’s restaurant and being met with long wait times we tried Samurai. We were immediately sat and given our menus.
We both got the hibachi steak and shrimp, and while that was really good, the star of the show was the deep fried crab roll! That was the single best sushi dish I have ever had! I also liked the chicken broth soup versus the traditional miso soup (which is available for those who want it).
Our chef had a good sense of humor and put on a good show, but he could have used some work on his order accuracy. However, besides that it was a great experience!

Pricy for the the small portions of food you get, when it comes to the hibachi me and my friends got the smallest amount of food usually at other hibachi restaurants you get enough to take home, I was very disappointed we didn’t feel as if the portion should match the price. Felt ripped off. Even after having a reservation for the birthday girl we sat and waiting over an hour for a chef.

We were the last table of the night and didn’t make a reservation, which was 100% our fault. It was my kids first experience at a hibachi restaurant and the chef seemed distracted or just ready for the night to be over. Great food and attentive wait staff. I will give them another shot next time we are in the Louisville area.

Let’s start off with, me and my partner have been customers to this place for a solid year and some change. Today we decided to order our usual roll and after that try a new roll. The second roll we weren’t happy with we wanted to exchange it for another roll that we usually order. We were met with disgusting, racist comments and were told that we were being penalized for not liking something. It wasn’t that we ate a lot of the roll ONE piece isn’t a lot at all and i’m sorry but if a customer is disappointed with the taste of an item but still is wanting to eat something else we should’ve been accommodated with what we wanted. We’re CONSISTENT paying customers. if you want to try something new here and don’t like it AND you have melanin skin please don’t come here. They will treat you like you’re wrong, say racist comments and try to make you pay for something you’ve barely ate. It’s not fair. It’s not equality. It’s about greed here. They don’t truly care about their customers who aren’t WHITE. Sorry not sorry.

I LOVE this place. Women owned and the food is simply divine! The sushi is so fresh and so many rolls to choose from. Venture out to meet middletown the next time you want sushi or hibachi….you won’t be disappointed!

This place is a hidden gem! Located in a strip mall, Samurai Sushi and Hibachi doesn’t look like much from the outside, but don’t be fooled. The food and service are both incredible.
Amazing Hibachi Experience:
I went with the hibachi for dinner and it was a fantastic show. The chef was super entertaining, juggling knives and flames while cooking our food to perfection. They even accommodated my request for extra veggies with a smile. The portion sizes were generous, and the steak melted in my mouth.
Fresh and Delicious Sushi:
My friend opted for the sushi, and it was equally impressive. The fish was incredibly fresh, and the cuts were perfect. They have a wide variety of rolls to choose from, along with all the classic nigiri and sashimi options.
