All I can say is wow, this place is truly amazing. The service is spot on and the atmosphere is nicely appointed. We have dined here about a half a dozen times and we’ve tried multiple entrees multiple times the food is absolutely amazing. They have a pasta room, which pastas are made daily. The head chef and the owner both collaborate on the menu and from appetizers , entrees and desserts , they are all truly amazinly prepared and wonderfully tasting. If you really want a truly italian experiance , this is the place to come. You will not be disappointed and the desserts are just as excellent as the entrees.
The menu changes often. I say the only downside is, they do not have a large wine selection, but some wines are avaialable.

I had a wonderful experience at Vietri’s. The restaurant has a warm, intimate Italian dining atmosphere that feels both cozy and thoughtfully curated. The table settings are charming and traditional, with decorative ceramic plates and patterned tablecloths that give the space a rustic, old-world Italian feel. Soft lighting and simple, elegant décor create a relaxed environment that feels welcoming rather than rushed, perfect for enjoying a full, leisurely meal. Overall, the setting feels comfortable, warm, and authentic, like a place meant for lingering conversations and good food.
The food was delightful. The dishes were beautifully presented and clearly made with care. I started with a non-alcoholic sangria and a burrata appetizer, both full of flavor. For my entrée, I ordered the Rigatoni alla Bolognese, which was rich, hearty, and absolutely delicious, with a sauce that coated the pasta perfectly. I finished the meal with an affogato for dessert, which tasted wonderful, especially since it had been a few years since I last had one.
The owner and the waitress were warm, friendly, and attentive throughout my visit, which truly enhanced the experience and left me feeling welcomed and appreciated. The customer service was excellent, and overall I had a great experience. It is the kind of place I would happily recommend to others.

What an amazing meal….I highly, highly recommend. From antipasti to il dolce… it was spot on and beautifully crafted. We started with arancini and foccia, went to seafood chowder ravioli and fusilli with broccoli rabe and sausage. Dessert was gnocchi il dolce (with brown sugar and cinnamon) and cannoli. Red wine throughout and an amazing espresso martini to close out. Nina Vietri and staff did an amazing job. Highly, highly recommend.

My goodness, what an absolute delight and treat. We heard about Vietri’s from a couple of friends and were excited to give it a try.
Quaint and cute location with adorable Italian style decor. The staff were all lovely and the FOOD – holy moly we were incredibly impressed.
We had the focaccia and Brussels to begin, both were fantastic! My husband and I shared two pasta dishes that were perfectly prepared. The standout was the Rosette Fungi, creamy, al dente ::chef’s kiss::
We could decide between the cannolis or the special of the day – tiramisu, so we got both!
Great price for great portions. Not too big where it’s intimidating and not too small that leaves you unsatisfied, just right! We will be back!!
Thank you, Nina, your restaurant is an absolute home run!

This restaurant is in a very charming historic house in Chesapeake City. The menu is original and fresh and very creative! Everything we were served was delicious. Some portions are quite generous.
I only gave the food four stars because
1. They do not have wine (they stated that they should have a license come October) and
2. They don’t know how to use their new Italian espresso machine so no espresso .
When these two items get rectified, they will deserve a 5.
They may want to proof-read their menus as there was an error in their dessert menu.

This place is the most darling restaurant! And the food was fantastic!! My favorite was the mushroom dish but the saffron linguine was also to die for. All their pasta is made fresh in house! With only a few tables in this place it makes it feel super intimate and special, like you are eating at a small Trattoria in Italy. Will definitely be returning.

I wanted to love this. Atmosphere was great. Cheese platter was great. Carbonara was luke warm and had a greasy rather than rich taste. Hubby was served the wrong meal( honest mistake which they offered to fix) he decided to keep it but it tasted like pasta with meat sauce which could have been easily made at home. Just all together a very mediocre meal and at over $100 dollars for just food alone not worth it. Maybe just a bad night as we were the only ones there but even so too expensive to try again. Also some bread with pasta would have been nice.

The wife took me there for date night and I had actually never heard of it. Great location in Chesapeake City but parking can be tough during busy hours. My wife had told me the buzz was the food was amazing and it really was. We had the seafood linguine and Branzino. And the fish was literally cooked perfectly with super thin and crisp skin. We got the cheese plate which was very good unfortunately it’s the only picture that I took of the food and for dessert we got the olive oil cake. I know it sounds different but if you go you, trust me get it. As I said the food was perfect the service was great but it was a bit cramped in there and we were sat pretty close to the front door on a humid evening . I know they’re just getting started and I know they’re going to figure a couple things out . We felt a big squeezed in. They had an outdoor area that would probably be wonderful with the fall weather but it was just too hot but a beautiful interior and was perfect spot for date night. Also when we went we heard it was BYOB but then we were told we couldn’t bring in the bottles of wine we brought so double check before you go what the situation is. Definitely recommend and we’ll be back hopefully when we can get a glass of wine with dinner.

We ordered the heirloom tomato which was well presented and flavorful but it could have used a little more burrata. My wife ordered the lasagna which was outstanding with a good portion size. I ordered the carbonara which was less than satisfactory. I’m a huge carbonara fan and it came out cold and soupy. I sent it back to be reheated and it wasn’t too much better. I hate to leave such a bad remark, but it was the worst I’ve ever had. The service and atmosphere were pretty good.

Service, dinner, and atmosphere were amazing. Charcuterie board, salads, and delicious house made pasta hit the mark while temps hovered @ 17 degrees outside. So good that we ordered extra entrees to enjoy during the conference championships tomorrow. We have found a new Italian favorite. I’m terrible with names, but believe our server Diane was simply the best.
