Good quality sushi and friendly service in downtown Lakewood. Quite a few different rolls and small dishes to choose from. They also had two types of boba tea, and the one we got was good. The service was friendly and they even gave us an extra dish that was made by mistake. But note this a counter order / takeout shop, not a sit-down restaurant w/ sushi bar. That was not clear to me when I went. If dining in, you order on tablets at the shop and they bring it out. Or you can order ahead and pick it up to go. Most of their business seems to be takeout. This is not a fancy place by any means. On the plus side, you don’t have to tip a server. Pretty small inside, about 4 four-tops and 4 two-tops. Not dirty inside, but they should take some time cleaning the floor and windows more, as well as tidying up the inventory that’s stacked up by the windows, to give it a nicer, more welcoming feel inside.

I’ve only ever ordered takeout from here, I’m not from the Lakewood community but they have the best sushi around. I had to go in today to pick up a party tray. The gentleman who greeted me was very friendly. Place looked spotless. Not in a great location, but definitely worth either takeout or picking up. Great sushi. Reasonable prices.

I got a delivery. I wrote on a note: Gluten free. They were so careful and called me to have me switch one item in my order. I really appreciated that. Then I had to switch the order from pickup to delivery and they were very patient. Even though I didn’t ask for them, Sushi Spot sent me Gluten free tamari sauce packets. Yum! The food was generous and delicious!

I ordered for my office’s holiday party. Easy to order online. It was ready even earlier than I expected, which was great! I ordered a small poke bowl, which wasn’t that small, and it was delicious. Very fresh ingredients. The only thing that I thought they could have done differently, was label the sauces. We figured it out, but if they could have put each sauce separately in a small bag, and wrote on the bag which sauces were which, would have been very helpful. I would definitely order from them again.

When we brought it to the owner’s attention, instead of apologizing or handling it professionally, he made a face and dismissed it, saying it was “normal.” The vegetables were not fresh, and the overall attitude showed no care for customer satisfaction. Definitely a bad experience.

Absolutely delicious!! The best sushi I’ve ever had. SO FRESH and so many rolls to select from as well as sides like fish and chips (highly recommend) . You can also order beautiful sushi platters. Go to multiple times a week. Manager is so nice and accommodating. Obsessed with this place !

The guy had a bit of an attitude that was ordering but he prob had a long day. The sushi was really good and fresh tasting. Ordered 4 rolls of cucumber and avocado. One container was in the photo but the other I didn’t take a photo of since I gave it to my husband to eat.
