This food always, always tastes like it was cooked with love. Seasoned like perfection, chicken falls off the bone. Very pleased with the food.

This was an expensive plate in my opinion. I was charged a little over $18; chicken burnt, no plantains either. The cabbage lacked seasoning. The wait was pretty long too for food that was already prepared and served room temperature.

Best Oxtail and Jerk Chicken in the world! Sauce is insanely good! So many good options with generous portions almost ordered the entire menu! This is a must have go to spot in Durham, NC. We came from Greensboro, NC and it was a million percent worth the drive! Will be coming back again to order the rest of the menu! There’s nothing on the menu that will disappoint! Everything is home made with Love! Much Love❤️

Wish that this place was closer to Chattanooga than it is. Because I would eat there at least once a week. Customer service was great. Prices are reasonable. Oxtails were succulent. I like the beef patties and cocoa bread. I like how they are open late at night. Next time I go to Durham I will stop by.

Very disappointed in the food that I got on Saturday. Spent over $44 for two plates, just to be receiving bone scraps. Portion can be better. Food was okay at best.

The food was amazing! Very good customer service today (not always though). The portion size was small (think kids meal) for the price paid—-but as long as that is not a barrier—-go check em out! I will always support when I run up on them, like I did today.

I can’t say enough great things about Ama’Gees! We love to frequent this food truck; Quality Jamaican food is difficult to come by in Durham and Ama’Gees absolutely delivers. In addition to the classics you may want (like beef Patties and jerk chicken), they also offer plenty of options for vegetarians or vegans. For peanut allergy sufferers they are conscientious about this and everything is safe to eat. The food is always flavorful and everyone who works there is great to interact with. Plus they are very communicative on their socials about where the truck is or if something comes up and they have to close early. Highly recommend you give it a try!

My complaint isn’t about the food so much but of deception! You don’t tell a customer that you’re going to be there when you know that you’re not! I drove from Fayetteville NC and was told at 8:15pm that they would be there! At about 9:30pm, I tried to call back to find out when they would be there for me to buy some food….NO ANSWER! I couldn’t believe that I had been lied to and they didn’t even have the common courtesy to let me know that they weren’t going to be there! That’s bad business and I will no longer support their business!

Worst encounter of my whole life. Rude as hell, food was bleh and ended up giving me food poisoning. Just a terrible experience all around from them. 0/5 do not recommend, unless you want to be throwing up and puking for the next day after.

Made it my mission to stop here before I headed back home an hour away as I’m not in the area often. Best Jamaican food in Durham in my opinion.
