This is a perfect date-night restaurant. We went for Valentine’s Day, and we still talk about how amazing the food was. All of our steaks were cooked to absolute perfection, and the sauces added so much flavor — I had the red wine sauce and my fiancé chose the blue cheese sauce, and both were incredible.
I also loved that any leftovers are packed up and held at the front for you, with a number to retrieve them before you leave. It’s such a thoughtful and convenient touch.
The only downside was the noise level. Our party of four had a hard time hearing each other across the table, and it felt like we had to raise our voices just to have a conversation.
Even with that, it was an unforgettable meal and a great spot for a special occasion.

Toca Vez is excellent, truly NYC-level good (in my humble opinion). The food was vibrant, flavorful, and thoughtfully done, and the atmosphere was energetic without being overwhelming. Mandy was an outstanding server who was warm, attentive, and made the experience even better with her suggestions. Chip, the owner, is fantastic as well and clearly takes pride in every detail. Can’t wait to come back!

I had an excellent experience at Toca Vez! The food is absolutely delicious every time we visit. The porterhouse steak is perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful, and the Toca Vez salad is always fresh and unique. The street corn is amazing and full of flavor, and the coffee is excellent as well.
This has become our favorite restaurant, and we’ve gone multiple times because the food and atmosphere are consistently great.
What really makes the experience special is the service. Ana and Liseth are amazing waitresses who always make us feel genuinely welcome and well taken care of. Their friendliness and attentiveness add so much to the experience.
Highly recommend Toca Vez if you’re looking for incredible food and warm hospitality!

Great place for a date night or special occasion. We came here recently to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Food was amazing and so was the service. Steak was cooked to perfection and Mac and cheese was 10/10. One of the things this restaurant stood out to us was they gave us complimentary champagne for our special night. We also liked how they boxed our food to go and gave us a number tag to pick up in the front when we were ready to leave. That small little detail went a long way and we did not feel rushed. The drinks were strong and delicious, the music and vibe was on point. Will be returning soon!

Incredible experience!! Absolutely beautiful atmosphere, craft cocktails, perfectly cooked steaks, and impeccable service. Our servers were Jack and Benny, very attentive, excellent service.
They offer an extensive gluten-free menu, which includes lots of appetizers and sides in addition to the entrees. I am celiac and I had no issues at all.
The manager “Chip” is always on top of things making sure everyone is taken care of.
We are already planning our next girls night back!

Visiting from out of town and I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was that good! The steaks were packed with flavor, the truffle mac and cheese was indulgent, and the desserts were absolutely divine. Hats off to the chef and the entire team—truly impressed!

Toca Vez, what a gem. Such a delicious, fun experience here for a date night or special occasion. We grabbed a drink at the bar before our reservation and there was plenty of seating, drinks were very tasty and unique – they also have a great selection of tequilas and mocktails! We decided on a few different things to share — the chicken tacos, lobster quesadilla and toca vez salad were perfect starters. You also get homemade chips and salsa for the table. Toca’s main entrees all looked amazing it was so hard to decide — they are known for their steaks so we did an 8oz filet and topped it with the most buttery, perfectly cooked shrimp with a side of homemade (puréed) chimichurri sauce, which was one of the best I’ve had. They had a bunch of sides (street corn, yuca fries, creamed spinach) but we were already slowing down once we got to this course ha! Last and certainly not least were the desserts – and there were several options to choose from…we landed on the tres leches cake which had a berry compote on top and the flourless chocolate lava cake which was so rich and gooey. Omgggg run don’t walk here for your next dining experience. Thanks for the best time!!

Me and my boyfriend went here last night I been here 10 times it’s always amazing and I wanted to share the experience with my boyfriend who’s never been for his birthday they were all so welcoming and nice. the food was amazing as always and they gave us a complimentary dessert. We had such a amazing experience steak was so good. And the owner came up to us and we said it was my boyfriend’s birthday and he gave us complimentary champagne! Best experience ever thank you so much!

I was looking for a good steak in the area and a friend suggested this place and what a great surprise, the place is beautiful. It was very packed BTW, if your are coming a Tuesday, Friday or Saturday you better make a reservation in advance.
We had dinner at the bar, where miraculously we found 1 chair empty, then our amazing server Julian, helped us moving other customers to get us a second chair, Julian was the best the whole night and there was another service that was very nice too. All drinks were delicious, we had the Hot Commodity and Desert Oasis and we loved them, they were not too sweet, just perfect cocktails.
The food was very good, we ordered the Porter House and it was delicious, just a little bit undercooked in some areas (at least for me), the mash potatoes was delicious and the asparagus were good, a couple of them a little bit hard in the base, what makes think they didn’t remove the hard part properly.
We mentioned what was my birthday week and the server surprised us with a sorbet and candle. For appetizers we had oysters and the cocktail source was outstanding. 100% recommended!!!
