We really enjoyed our visit to Tejavan. The staff were friendly and attentive. The restaurant had a fun vibe and was very clean and nicely decorated. The food was very good and well sized. Would recommend to any visitors looking for an authentic Mexican in Amarillo.

Absolutely awesome, ate here 1st time the food was delicious had a goat quesadilla it was soo good. the server she was excellent made sure everything was just right. then the desert came the tres leches cake I’ve had it many places but this was best by far. love this place will return soon.

Had to leave early and not finish dining in. The ceviche tostadas are sooo yummy We also took to go menudo, Caldo de Res and birria tacos Very clean and pretty place. I love what they did with the place. I love the fact that they serve mocktails(Virgin drinks) for us non alcoholic drinkers..bar looks nice and clean. Hope to see some live music as well sometimes. Food is ok. Menudo was very weak no flavor tripe was severely overcooked, owner needs to look into this. Homemade corn tortillas were awesome. We ordered 2 plates with scrambled eggs. One was good the other was burned till brown, not good. Other Food our group ordered was ok. The waiters need to disperse from their group huddle and tend to customers. We waited for refills while they were in conversation.

Went here for my lunch break at 11:30am on a Friday and was taken care of so fast. I love the location by Tascosa and this place has the same great food. I got a $10 taco lunch plate and left very full!
