I never got a chance to go when it was Shwarma City, but Habibi did not disappoint.
The food was fast, tasty, and a good value. The lamb gyro wrap was well stuffed and seasoned, and they served it with the very addictive crispy fries.

I drive from Toronto to Buffalo pretty often and one thing that I miss is Halal shawarma wraps. You can get a good combo for a reasonable price. Your halal options are very limited in Amherst.

So bummed that Shawarma City, one of my favorite places, has closed. This place just does the tired old fried junk. Shawarma City had fresh chicken, beef and lamb with rice and salads, fresh hummus, baklava — all kinds of awesome things. This new place is fried chicken, burgers and subs. Sad. So sad.

This has to be one of the best fish fries I’ve ever eaten. Came with a half a lemon slice, nice sauce, hot sauce over salad and the salad had pickles and all kinds of lovely dressing on it. What a wonderful meal! Thank you!

Very tasty chicken! I love the charred bits. Way better than Halal Guys and I’m from NYC when this was the hottest thing, especially after the club! They only give a combo though so you have to take a drink with it. Restaurant customer areas (bathroom ) could really use a deep clean and please replace malfunctioning blinking lights.

While I did not get the finely chopped shawarma as I get in India, it was still a good shawarma. Being mostly oil-free was a nice surprise. They did not mix veggies and chicken thoroughly but segregated them (yes, within the wrap!). It was a bit unexpected and interesting.

Their lamb shank is soooo delicious and the price is also very reasonable. This is one of my favorite item. I can eat this everyday.
