Really great taste, good portions, and good price! I got the catfish sandwich with fries, and everything seemed fresh and was deliciously seasoned.

So I came down from Cleveland to Cincy to take my daughter to the Barbie Exhibit. (That’s another post) Asked my sister about a Soul Food restaurant. Remind you it was a Monday. And I guess soul food restaurants don’t open in Cincinnati on Monday. This one was Open.
So I had to get a little bit of everything.
I got some ribs, chicken, catfish, macaroni and cheese, fries and candied yams. Yes
This place gets a 10 out of 10.
And is my go to place in Cincy for Soul food .

Went tonight to get dinner for my guys. Two mambas with macaroni sides. I had the lobster sandwich with shrimps. FANTASTIC. Additionally the customer service was Top Notch. They treated all who entered so well and with positive energy. The cashier was amazingly polite and patient when I had to adjust the order. We will be going back. Much love.

Everything was wonderful, I even got 3 extra wings. The Greens, and Cabbage could use just a little more seasoning other than that it was perfect. The Soul berry Kool-Aid was amazing. Now all you have to do is SERVE SOUL BOWLS ❤️

A+ First Experience At Mz Jades Soul Station!
I got the fried lobster tail w/ 2 sides. I ordered via Toast. Order was on-time, freshly prepared, hot, and full of flavor! The lobster tail was juicy, good size, and fried to perfection. Yams were right amount of sweet, perfectly cooked (and very obviously NOT canned). Beans were tasty and tangy, the way they should be! Corn on the cob and potatoes were seasoned well and hit the spot. Last, but certainly not least—the chess pie was amazing! It was the only dessert left when I ordered, so, I was a bit timid… but sooo glad I ordered it. Was as decadent as something you’d get at a Michelin 5 star. Was rich, but not overdone on sugar. Absolute creamy, custardy heaven. Both of the young ladies working were very kind and pleasant to interact with, and place was clean.
I highly recommend stopping in!

New* and needed soul food by UC. The portions are big, including the sides, and you get a lot of fries with the burgers and sandwiches.
I got The Who Dey (lobster + shrimp) burger with coleslaw. It was superb and totally worth it. I ate it at the window counter (fits 3 people, but this is primarily a carry-out restaurant).
All the soul food meals (which come with 2 sides + dessert) look good, so that’s next on my list here.

Some of the best food I’ve had in the area. My go-to when at work, really enjoy the hot honey and garlic parm on the whole wings. Also 5 whole wings and fries for $8 is a super good deal. Even hooked me up with free yams and Mac n cheese the other day. 20/10
