By law, restaurants in California are required to provide free drinking water to their customers upon request. This applies to all establishments serving food and drink, including chains, independent restaurants, and even food trucks. This right is mandated by California Civil Code Section 114376.
But here you can’t even get tapwater for free, even when you have your own coffee mug.
Update according to the website , as of January 2025 Starbucks, no longer offers free water. I still refuse to change my review because of the way that Mark relayed this information. He was very unprofessional and he should work on his delivery.
Do order here, unless you just want a walk-thru. (There is no drive-thur to be specific)
