The Pretzel Bakery makes some seriously tasty pretzels. The dough is soft and chewy, with just the right amount of salt and flavor. I tried a few of the specialty options too, and they were creative without overdoing it. The staff was friendly and the place has a casual, welcoming vibe. Not perfect, but a solid spot for a quick, satisfying snack. I’d go back.

I agree with the comments saying the plain pretzel is bland. It just tastes like bread. It doesn’t have that rich pretzely taste. And it wasn’t particularly fluffy. I also got the pub cheese, which I didn’t like. It was cold! I expected more from a place that has “pretzel” in its name. Maybe the other pretzels are better, but I probably won’t go back to find out. I ended up going to a German pub right afterwards to redeem the pretzel craving I had.

Nice local pretzel place with german flair and taste Fresh, well sized (read – not oversized) tasty plain salty pretzels. We enjoyed also their Nutella bomb and breakfast slider – yummy and good size for adults or kids (you will not overeat if you stick to one
About the atmosphere – a more friendly and sunny morning mood exhibited by the young people working there could go a long way…
oh, and their coffee is relatively decent, although I wish they had also proper expresso ☕️
Note that they have inside and outside space, but seating is limited.
Overall – a good place to stop for breakfast or keeping on the radar when planning a picnic or a sandwich-type lunch.

It was my first time visiting The Pretzel Bakery
. The line wasn’t long at all on a Saturday morning. The place is a bit small inside with a little seating indoors and seating outside. I ordered 2 pretzels a regular & a cinnamon one. The pretzels were very good. Super soft and warm.

I was visiting the area and this bakery was down the street. I arrived on Friday and left Monday. I went here every single day for a pretzel and a water ice. They ran out of mango flavor which saddened me, but the lemon is just as good. Was so upset to arrive Monday and see yall were closed. Definitely stopping in next time I’m in town.
The positive vibe from the staff makes for a welcoming, pleasant atmosphere.

I walked here to get the breakfast sliders. They stop selling them at 2 pm normally, which unfortunately wasn’t on their website. Settled for the pretzel dog instead, which was good if a little simple. Dijon, mustard and ketchup bottles are available in the drink refrigerator near the register, bottom shelf. Overall it is a nice peaceful space with outdoor seating.

For a place that has “pretzel” in its name, you would think they would deliver a more memorable pretzel. We bought 3 for $8(2 Original Salted and 1 Sweet Cinnamon), a can of pop, and an Iced Coffee. Whether you are dining in or not, they put it all in a bag. Together. So, the glaze on the sweet pretzel got all over and stuck to the wax paper they wrapped it in. It was an absolute mess trying to eat it. The Original ones were so bland and quite the disappointment…they need more salt on top! They’re not worth the calories honestly. It was $15 spent that I would not spend again.

This place is the absolute best! We are so sad they closed in cabin john. The food is amazing and also the owner and everyone working here is soooo nice. Definitely recommend!

I was incredibly disappointed with my recent visit to this breakfast shop. My family and I have been to this pretzel shop multiple times, but this experience was unacceptable. Out of the four sandwiches I ordered, two had hair in them, and when I called to address the issue, the manager claimed no one working there has long hair but said he would investigate. I don’t know how I’m supposed to take that comment, especially when living in Washington, DC, I’m clearly not crying over $16—it’s about principle and basic food safety.
