We “discovered Alvino’s a couple of years ago while traveling. We own a property in Florida but hadn’t retired yet, while making the drive North after spending a couple of weeks in FL we stayed in Dyersburg on the way home. The pizza and especially the wings blew us away with the awesomeness! Last year we retired and moved full time to Florida….Ya wanna know how good this place is???? The drive back North is 21 1/2 hours. We drove 14 1/2 today just to make it to Dyersburg and enjoy another awesome meal (Italian Beef sandwich and Philly Cheese Steak) of course wings. We were not disappointed. Alvino’s is going to make it tough on me as I foresee every future driving trip planned around the 14 1/2 hour drive to get here! So Dang Good!!!! P.S. Can’t rate the Atmosphere as we are to tired to go out and order in at the hotel.

I only got a pickup order but I wanted to commend the staff for their hospitality and willingness to help! My 6 year old who has autism accompanied me in picking up the food… while there, he was very excited about the soda fountain. Juggling my son and my wallet at the same time as one of the employees who I assume is in management offered to take my food to the car. Small acts such as this are very helpful and appreciated! I wish I had gotten his name to give him a shout out. The food is amazing, as always!

I have been going to alvinos since 2002 when I moved here from Chicago to Ripley. I now live in mason and I still will drive an hour to get this food because it’s that good to me. But today I drove this far and spent $57.48 and my deep dish was far from amazing as it usually is. It usually have a little
Burnt edges but today was too burnt. I should have checked it before I left but alvinos usually never miss. Also it take took them over an hour to get my order completed with a deep dish and 2 combo italian beefs. I’m not complaining about the time either but if I had checked the pizza and asked for it to be remade I wouldn’t have wanted to wait another hour. The pizza was too burnt where the burnt taste was through and through the pizza and it wasn’t stuffed too well. I love alvinos I just hope today wasn’t the first day out of 20 years that they would start falling off on their food. The beefs was amazing as usual.
Update…I would like to say that the manager here is really nice and sweet. Not only did he leave a response immediately to resolve my issue but I was called personally. I love that. They will continue to get me and my family business. This is the only restaurant here in tennessee you can get authentic Chicago food. And they follow through everytime. The customer service is unmatched. Thanks again alvinos for valuing me as a customer. 5/5

I eat here at least once a week. Just picked up my wife from the airport in Memphis and we needed something good. I always ask for “a little crispy” and they absolutely kill it! Tonight was no different it was wonderful. He took the extra time to make it just right. The young ladies at the front are always amazing! I will forever be an Alvino’s customer!

We’re from out of town and were wanting some great pizza. We found this little place in downtown Dyersburg. They have a delicious looking menu. We ordered two different pizzas. They were both delicious! This is a place that seems to have been around for many years. You can get your order to go or eat in. We are most definitely planning on going back.

Stopped while passing through. Absolutely delicious pizza with thin crispy crust. Friendly young girl, Gracie,ran the counter and served the tables. She made sure everyone had enough to drink anything else they needed. Good prices. Will definitely return.
