Italian Garden & Pizzeria

This is definitely a 5 star Pizzeria in town. The staff was real nice and very knowledgeable about all the food on that long menu…They make so many different things to eat and all kinds of dishes!!!! And my waitress was so nice e and sweet. I’m terrible with names, either Amy.or Lisa… I do remember that she had glasses on, but she was great!!!
And here is a good tip to everyone, not if but when you tip anyone, you should always tip in cash, Uncle Sam doesn’t need to tax it, they are already underpaid.

And don’t be cheap and leave a dollar or 2, 20% is what I tip every time unless I get bad service….. But no bad service hear, only great food and service!!! Next time I’m in town, I will be there!!!!

After paying $35 for a takeout meal for my husband and I and I get home and the salad looks like this. Uneatable…. I call to let them know about this and the girl on the phone said let me see if my manager will give you 25% off of your next meal here, but the manager offered a free salad for the salad that I can’t even eat this time on my next return. This has been one of our favorite restaurants, but sad to say we will not be back over something that would’ve been so easy to fix! Greed is so sad!!!

The worst pizza I’ve ever had was from a now-closed restaurant in Shelby called Tops Pizza. The pizza from Italian Gardens really reminded me of that experience. Flavorless. Dry. Used an airbrush to put the sauce on.

I have no idea how this place is still in business. I guess the people of Kings Mountain just don’t know any better….

I ordered food to go and when we got our food, the plastic lids had melted on our food. We had to pick plastic pieces out of our food. I called to inform them and all the lady could say was that they have been doing this a long time and she would let someone know. Never any response to trying to fix anything.

I ordered to go, 1 large cheese and a pepperoni. The pizza was very cheesy, which is a plus for us, and the crust was a little crunchy, which we like as well. If they can keep making the pizza the same way, we will definitely return for more, but just in case this ain’t your NY pizza.

We stopped in here hoping for a nice, authentic Italian dish before hitting the casino. They didn’t disappoint. I had the lunch portion of baked ziti with garlic bread, my daughter had chicken alfredo… both were delicious and good portions. The sweet tea was also delicious. It wasn’t Olive Garden breadsticks, salad and entree, but the staff was very nice, the food was fresh, nice atmosphere. I definitely recommend it and would visit them again. We also got a slice of red velvet cake to go, also very good!

The gyro sandwich was delicious and is offered with a salad at lunch. Spouse had small veggie pizza which was tasty. Service was pleasant and fast. Happy to find this restaurant whole traveling.
