We have ate at Little Athens Gyro twice now and have thoroughly enjoyed our experience both times! The interior is very welcoming and clean. The owners and staff are very kind, helpful, and provide excellent customer service. And lastly, and most importantly, the food has been consistently amazing! Our personal favorite menu items are the fries, tzatziki sauce, and the Greek Philly Gyro.

Delicious food, great service, excellent quality food and fast. Small mom and pops shop that is producing a superior product. First time here, will be one of my go to when i’m in town. My son bragged about this place.So we decided to have lunch here and it was a great choice. The owners are very polite and offered great customer service at a very reasonable price.

Haven’t been here since the old owners sold. New owners have given it a complete facelift and it’s so light and bright and welcoming now. Food was even better than I remembered, I will definitely be back for another amazing gyro!

I posted in Tallahassee Foodies group asking “Who has the best gyros in Tallahassee “ Little Athens was highly recommended and I learned through comments, that were later censored, they use the original recipe that was proven the best. This evening I had their gyro and fries combo for myself and wow! They absolutely lived up to their positive reviews. The best gyro I’ve ever had and the best fries I’ve ever had. Bar none. That original seasoning they use is the bomb! Nobody else does it like them. My food was cooked and prepared by the owner and let’s face it…. Nobody works or cares like an owner. This ain’t no chain. This is a Tallahassee original. Their fries were so good I didn’t even wanna use ketchup on em. Perfectly seasoned. Best fries I’ve ever ate in my life. Their gyro, I got the original standard one, was also the best gyro I’ve ever had. I’ve ate many other gyros at other places, but I’ve never had a gyro and fries as good as I’ve had at Little Athens. The staff is amazing, their restaurant and restrooms are clean. They have games, indoor and outdoor seating and it’s a perfect place to hang out or study, but I go there for their gyros and fries. They’ve got lightning in a bottle over there. Nobody’s gonna beat their gyro and fries. They have several other sides, but the fries are so good I’ll be getting them again. Never had fries that good before or a gyro that good. Get the original gyro and fries and I promise you you’ll love it and be hooked like me.

This place seemed to be really authentic as it was a little difficult to communicate a question I had while ordering but who cares when the food is as good as it is!
The gyros were incredibly delicious! I got the big Athens and my husband got the Philly gyro. We both got it standard with lamb and the meat was seasoned to perfection. The sauce was perfect. And the French fries were insanely good! They seasoned them with their special seasoning combo and it really doesn’t need any dipping sauces they were so so good! The pricing was decent on top of it all!
It’s got a convenient location next to a popular bar and across from FSU’s campus as well.

Great atmosphere and vibe here and they have insane Gyros – I got the Big Athens Gyro and it was hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. Great service too and prices are very reasonable. Skip the Greek chains in town and go here instead, you won’t be disappointed!

I enjoyed the Greek Philly Gyro with a side of Pita Fries. Then I had Baklava with Greek coffee. Everything was so delicious and the ladies were very friendly and welcoming, thank you!
