The drawback was waiter was not friendly at all & they don’t have sweet & sour sauce. I will be back to order different plates. Give them a try.
We always get the wonton noodle soup with bbq pork and bok choy/Chinese broccoli and most of the time will split the pan fried noodles with whatever protein we are feeling!
It was such a pleasure to celebrate Chinese new years here with some tasty bbq pork and roast pork belly.
The char siu had that proper lacquered exterior with good caramelization and the right balance of sweet and savory. Tender without being mushy, exactly what you want from Cantonese-style roast pork.
But the real star was the lemongrass rib. Outstanding. Deep fried to a perfect crisp exterior while staying juicy inside, with the lemongrass flavor coming through beautifully—aromatic and distinct without overpowering the pork. Paired it with their fried rice, which was legitimately impressive—proper wok hei, individual grains, no greasiness. The kind of fried rice that makes you wonder why you ever settle for mediocre versions elsewhere.
This is the real deal hiding in plain sight in Haltom City. Skip the generic takeout spots and come here instead.
The food is always so delicious – hot, fresh and consistent. We had orange chicken and Pork soft noodles. The egg rolls are a little different but really good. It’s become a regular for us.
!B6. BBQ Pork. This is classic char siu pork that is not too sweet but very flavorful. Taste so good with rice.
!R5. Roasted Duck on Rice. It’s duck cooked right. Don’t miss out on the side of sauce. It elevates the duck.
N13. BBQ Crispy noodle. A classic dish done right. You get a big nest of crispy noodles surrounding the meats and veggies on a bed of gravy.
A11. Hong Kong Style Crab. The dish is good but had better. It is a little spicy. I do recommend it’s mixed with rice.
Fyi. Wait to be seated. CASH ONLY. Family portions.
Inside decoration is very clean well organized.
Roasted duck: Duck is a little fatty under the duck skin (personal preference). But I think it was great! Very aromatic, tender, sweet and savory.
Roasted pork: Ahhh, pork is my favorite meat already so I am bias. But it was sweet, tender, juicy, I want it again now!
Stir fry Morning Glory (water Spanish): I know it is a simple dish, but I also know that to make a simple dish excellent is challenging, they nailed it!
Good price, great (huge) potion!
Service: I think they are family business, so the wait staff must be family members or friends. Really welcoming, really nice!
Please Prepare just one thing that they accept cash only.
