Celebrated a birthday on a Saturday evening. Arrived before the peak dinner timeframe and were seated with no waiting. We have been planning to drop in for some time and this night was a great opportunity. The atmosphere was superb and our waitress was outstanding! We ordered the chef select charcuterie and house salad along with a wine flight with the ability to build your own! The Jeio Prosecco comes with the flight by default, and for the remaining 3 we chose Peirano Chardonnay (CA), Domaine de Christia Cotes du Rhone (France), and Campet Ste Marie Pinot Noir Pays D’Oc (France). It turned out to be a nice variety of whites and reds. To finish the dinner we shared a slice of the red velvet cake. The food and presentation were great, and this fit our search for something unique. Well done! Highly recommended!

This is the best St Louis food you will find in Charlotte. I was born and raised in St. Louis and this has The Hill written all over its food. I’ve been in Charlotte over a decade and you will not find food like this often. 5 stars. Also to note, the pizza has provel cheese and is famous in St. Louis. This is NOT New York pizza. Give it a try though. You won’t be disappointed, I guarantee it.

Great first experience here on a Saturday night. Would definitely recommend a reservation. They have all the tables prepared with names, I thought that was a nice organized touch. Friendly service, great knowledge of food. We had a cheese board and I had a pesto chicken pizza. I like the style of thin crust and the cheese was amazing. Would definitely come back!

I came to this place for a evening out and had a mixed experience. The charcuterie board was perfectly fine – a great selection of meats, cheeses, and accompaniments that hit the spot. The wine selection was also on point; the glasses we tried were really good.
However, the pizza was a bit of a letdown. It had waaay too much green leaves (like, an overload of arugula or something!) and it ended up being super bitter. Not my fave.
The tiramisu dessert didn’t quite make the cut – it didn’t seem super fresh, which was a bummer.
On the plus side, the ambience of the place was really nice – cozy and chill vibes. And HUGE shoutout to our waitress – she was a really nice person, super attentive and made our experience way better.

My wife and I were shopping in the area and decided to check out Margaux’s. We were beyond thrilled with what we experienced. Our server was great and very helpful. We ordered the Apple Pecan Salad along with Margaux #73 (pizza). The food tasted great, the atmosphere was nice and everyone there was very friendly. We enjoyed our time and would highly recommend Margaux’s!

I love this. I’ve got an 18 hour layover and needed to kill time so I went here for lunch. I got the Margeaux 72 (or 71?). Oh. So good. Also had the Allagash beer.
Really nice staff, nice patio, though loud cuz of cars, but overall a very pleasant experience.
The bathroom was very clean and nice, and you can see where they keep the wood for their pizza oven.
Would absolutely visit again if I’m in the neighborhood.

My wife and I had an excellent evening at Margaux’s. It is conveniently located adjacent to public parking. We did not have reservations, which they recommend, but they were able to seat us quickly anyway. The seating is a mix of tables and community style. Ambience inside was nice and pleasant, not too loud. Service was quick and very friendly. We ordered a charcuterie board and a bottle of wine to start and a chicken pesto pizza for our meal. The style of pizza is a unique but we thoroughly enjoyed it!

We had the best time when we celebrated a friends birthday here! We popped in for lunch & the atmosphere was everything we hoped it would be. We ordered some wine – they have a great selection. We were pleasantly surprised when we order the two for two charcuterie. Sometimes they lack a little in substance, but this was beautiful & full of some many delicious things. (We will be back just for this & a glass of wine.) We shared the caprese & a pizza too! The weather was perfect! We opted for indoor, but again can’t wait to go back and sit out. Just the best time!

One of my favorite restaurants of 2024. One of my favorites during my visit to the Charlotte area. Great service, Excellent food. Lovely decor and ambiance. Wonderful price point. Hospitable service. This is my third time dining at this establishment. It has not disappointed yet. My friends and I had an amazing time. I am looking forward to my return.
