We were looking for a new local/take out spot in the area & decided to check out this place and glad we did. I definitely recommend their hibachi chicken and shrimp. The up charge for half rice and noodles was well worth it. Overall, their food was seasoned well and it was a lot of food for little to nothing. Can’t wait to try them again!

This is going to be an unusual review for me because for YEARS (10+) this place has been our go-to place for quick, good Japanese take out. Tonight, my husband and I got our standard Hibachi chicken with vegetables and salad. As usual, I bought an extra large container of white sauce.
The chicken was dry. The vegetables were old (not just soggy but one piece of broccoli stem was grey). The salad (a few iceberg leaves and a couple of strips of shredded carrot) were sitting in a puddle of water. The salad dressing cups were so overfilled they “popped” and sprayed all over the table. I could tell the white sauce was different…it had the look and consistency that oil and a thickener had been used rather than regular mayo as the base and it was watery. I poured out the entire container of the sauce that I purchased.
I can’t stress how disappointing this is. We won’t be going back.

Alright, so I finally hit up Hibachi Express for the first time. Here’s the honest scoop.
Walked in and stood at the counter for a good while. The guy rolling sushi? Acted like I was invisible. No “be with you in a sec,” no eye contact, just kept on rolling. Kinda awkward.
Luckily, someone from the back eventually came out and saved the day. Super polite, explained the different options. Big thanks to him for turning that around. I’m guessing they were just slammed, so I’m trying to be gracious with the service rating.
Now, the food itself was decent. The Yum Yum sauce was a bit on the runny side, but it tasted good. The rice had a nice flavor. We got the chicken and steak combo. The chicken was definitely on the dry side, which was a bummer. But the steak? That was cooked perfectly, and they absolutely nailed the seasoning.
Honestly, I’d probably give them a second chance. And a big shoutout for the free Oreos! Those little cookies were delicious and definitely left a good impression that boosted this review.

My husband and I were craving this type of food. We ordered the Steak and chicken combo $13.59, Godzilla roll $12.99 and “sushi regular” $10.99. The miso soup was perfect for this chilly night. However the steak & chicken combo was bland and flavorless with too much rice. The Godzilla roll was just okay, the sushi regular didn’t seem fresh especially the shrimp was extremely dry. To our surprise there was a free dessert in the bag (deep fried oreos with dipping sauce) that was a nice gesture!!! The food did the job, but nothing to brag about.

They messed up my order but I’m glad they did. I ordered the salmon and scallops hibachi but I got steak and scallops. Steak was medium rare and really tender. Rice was good, wish it had a little more egg in it but still had great flavor. Definitely going back!!

I’ve gone twice so far and that will probably be it. First time the chicken and steak hibachi was of good proportion. But this time I ordered salmon hibachi and this is what I got. SMH…Little and small bits of salmon.

Been coming here for years but had to give a bad review after many years of good reviews. I picked up dinner tonight from there and it was $20 for one person, and then the food was obviously from the day before, and this was 45 mins before closing time, totally unacceptable. The broccoli had black mold on it and the zucchini skin was turning black from being old and rotten. The mushroom made me gag from being literally rotten. The egg roll was total mush, as if it were way past its time as well. I used to work in restaurants for many years and it seems to me like this restaurant has tried to start doing shady things to cut costs, like making big batches ahead of time and throwing things together in the microwave, or quickly throwing it on a griddle to heat it up. It’s sad because this place used to be decent but they’ve slid slowly downhill now until I’m forced to never eat there again and now leave a bad review. It pains me to have to do this but they need to clean up their act. This food is DISGUSTING and there is no excuse.

Me and my mom were in the mood for some hibachi and I came across this place in my search. The woman at the register was extremely impersonal and rude… In fact I don’t think she looked in my eyes even once! The actual restaurant is small.. Clean.. And casual. The menu was very cheap as well. Now for the food… My mom got the vegi habatchi and I got chicken and a spring roll. It was all super fresh and tasted great Their white sauce was the closest to kobes I’ve tried yet!! Now I do prefer my fried rice a little more… Fried.. And wished my spring roll came with 2 or was a little bigger, But other then that it was delicious! Will definitely come back and try more.. Hopefully with someone else taking my order

This place has changed so much and not for the better. This was once my go to spot. I have not been here sense the beginning of covid. I decided to go. Well all the plastic and stuff is up from covid I guess they are still scared. Makes you feel odd talking to someone through a box. They use to have an any 2 rolls and a soup but now it’s lunch only. White sauce used to be free now it’s $1.30 or 1.50 for a small container. Rolls look to have got smaller. I ordered I think it was a Florida roll. I have to say it was almost all avocado not much crab. For a $9 roll being super small and all avocado it’s a joke. Rolls here are like now like half the size of normals rolls. Sad day I really miss the old days of this place.
