I highly anticipated this visit for a long time and it did not disappoint. We ordered plenty of food and it was adequately portioned and delicious. I tried a bar raising meat lover pizza with actual steak and the cheese pull was absolutely phenomenal. Next time I visit Anchorage, Alaska again Table Top Pizza will be on the agenda.

Pizza, nacho and wings are yummy. A small pizza (12″) should be enough for 2 people. Medium (14″) and large (16″) and pizza by the slice ($5) are also available. There’s a $10 lunch special for a slice of pizza and a salad. Beer on tap is nice too. Only one waitress is working during dinner on a summer weekday. She was efficient in handling the crowd by taking orders, sending the food and cleaning up all by herself. This place needs some cleaning up though. No itemized bill was given when we asked for the check. There’s no pasta on the menu. P.S: visited a 2nd time a few days later and was shown the itemized bill and the lone waiter on duty was friendly and efficient. If you want certain dishes to be served first or later, you should advise the waiter or else all the food might be served at the same time. Tap water is served here too. There are 2 pool tables and a basketball machine for free play. I will come back here again as the prices are reasonable and the food is great. 3rd time review: this time the lone waitress didn’t attend to us after we were seated down for a long time. In the end we’ve to go to the bar to order our drinks. The basketball machine is not there anymore.

We had pizza and salad for lunch, and the food was excellent. We had a medium sized pizza that was really decent in price and serving size (it would be a large in most restaurants), and a large salad that could easily feed 4. The bar is laid back, and there were a lot of tables that could have used bussing sooner. We sat ourselves, and it wasn’t clear if the bartender was also the server, but he was…they could definitely use more staffing! The service is friendly, but it did take a good while to get our pizza out. It is a no frills sports bar with excellent pizza.

Service and atmosphere was great, I just had a problem with how the tomatoes and garlic on the pizza were very thick and not properly cut.

Overall average at best. Temperature and texture of food was just right, but lacked flavor. Many other places in downtown worth trying. Also, specifically, there are other pizza locations (and more) in midtown that have unique menu options and taste phenomenal! Midtown has the better eating scene if you’re a foodie.
Service here was quick and friendly and the atmosphere was calm and inviting for a Saturday night.
I did not have an alcoholic beverage, but it seemed to pair well with meals for others.

My first visit Flattop was quiet upon my visit Monday, during a snow storm! This is a sports bar with multiple TVs. Large number of beers on tap and reasonably priced food menu. I had the Ale House Pie (pizza to you and me). Very tasty and very well cooked. The crust was firm and crunchy and the toppings were cooked just enough to be warm and tasty. One of the best pizzas I have had in a while. Slight drawback was the time it took from order to delivery of the ‘pies’. But I can appreciate that the time was used to properly prepare our meals. 4 stars at the moment as it was a very quiet night. I wonder how it is on busy nights?
My second visit was on a drizzly Wednesday evening in July. I ordered the classic pizza. The bar was reasonably busy but still plenty of tables and booths. My order was taken quickly. The pizza was served 45mins later! So slow preparation times was a common theme.
The pizza was crusty and very hot; literally straight out of the oven. It was nice but pretty much standard pizza. I noticed that the food menu was noticeably shorter than my last visit with not many options and only around 5 pizza choices. The small pizza was plenty big enough for one.
The bar was far noisier with loud conversations and music. However, the music was adult orientated with offensive lyrics so I would recommend not bringing children for a pizza here!

Ever been downtown in a city where you discover culinary and libation nirvana? Flattop Pizza and adjoining Humpy’s Alehouse are just that in Anchorage. There is no one better than Elizabeth!! She served 20 of us!!! She’s literally the Queen of Awesomeville. Interior decor, seating, menu, restrooms, view, ambiance… Perfection! Oh – and the food: TOP TIER. The delicious pizza, salads, calamari, chicken wings, and Alaskan halibut options like blackened and halibut-and-chips were prized delights. A must-stop if you’re downtown. If you’re a tourist downtown, even better because you can walk there. Scrumptious!! And my first time here.

The flat bread pizza was a great flavor. We got half pepperoni and half Hawaiian. So tasty. It took about a half hour for it to cook but was worth the wait.
