Overpriced yet average-tasting tacos! Went on Taco Tuesday but ended up paying almost $45 for 10 tacos and a drink… We at least hoped that they tasted amazing, but they were a let down. The meat was soggy and drenched with oil. Not a lot of flavor overall. As an avid taco lover, I was really disappointed with how bland the food was.

I’ve eaten at a ton of taquerias and taco trucks and El Compita is tops! Quality food, fair prices, super friendly owners, flavorful salsas. Meat isn’t super fatty and cheap tasting. Got asada, al pastor, and cecina tacos and an asada burrito. All great. Definitely a place to return to.

This place it sucks, first they charge me 1$ for a taco for 3$, just because I’m paying with Apple pay, That mean they charge Extra 35% just for one Taco. Beside that, they are not professional at all, and their food are very cold and bad. And when asked them why you are charging me 1$ plus they said that’s is the law.

El Compita is an establishment of the finest quality. Not only are the fine taco artisans friendly and full of enthusiasm but they are bilingual as well. This place has the finest taco truck playlist in all the land, it really elevates the experience. With most tacos being $1.50 each it caters to the proletariat working man in a classic display of solidarity. The tacos are beautiful and portioned with the utmost respect for my desire for Mexican meat in my mouth. The salsas are also really good.

I’m a picky eater and like eating food prepared by the proprietar. No one cares more about customer experience than the owner: food quality, reasonable price and serving size, flavor, freshness, texture, and cleanliness.
The owner and his wife excelled in all the above expectations and one more unexpected plus.
Unlike many other taco trucks, they have barely raised prices over the past couple of years. I mentioned this while waiting for my order, and she shared that they decided to keep prices down for their customers because so many are struggling financially in this failing economy.
Go out of your way if you can to support this taco truck. We need more good small businesses like this who care about their customers. And best of all, you will get amazing food !

$15 for 95% rice in your burrito — a shame for OC Mexican Food. – Hit up Mariscos El Yaqui or anything along the DT Santa Ana area will probably fare better.

These tacos were AMAZING! Tacos El Compita was a fantastic welcome to California for my mom, sister, and I. We’ve never been here before, and not only was the food fresh and nourishing, but the people were so friendly and kind, and we loved speaking with them in English and Spanish. Thanks Tacos El Compita for making us feel welcome and at home.
We’ll be going back, and if you haven’t gone, you should go!
