If you want true ice cream go elsewhere, there are definitely better places in Annapolis for less $. They advertise fantastic flavors but they are all mixed as you wait and priced per “add in” it tasted good but I came in expecting coffee ice cream with dark chocolate and sea salt and that’s not what I got I got an overpriced vanilla ice cream with mixers. Don’t get me wrong it tasted good but not what I was expecting and not worth the $.

The BEST ce cream in Annapolis? This place is simply iconic. He won’t see me going to Annapolis without stopping at Red Bean on main Street for ice cream. My personal favorite is if I do a lot of ice cream with a shot of espresso. Called an affogado. It’s heavenly. And they can make just about anything with any topping. I had an opportunity to talk to the new owner, Victor. He told me the midshipman have been coming a lot and asked if he could get protein to mix in with the ice cream! Makes sense for those sport teams that need the extra protein. The place is clean as a whistle. Even the bathroom is super clean. The decor is really quite unparalleled by any of the other ice cream stores in town, this place is super comfortable with plush seating, and even some great window tables raised up so you can watch pastors by enjoying the town. This is the best of the best when it comes to ice cream in Annapolis.

Not the best experience for the price. My coffee was great for all of 2 minutes before I felt something hard touch my lip. Thought it was a bug for a moment, but a whole coffee bean was just floating around! That would’ve been fine, but then there was random peanut butter ice cream at the bottom of my cup of blackberry green tea ice cream, which wasn’t fun. My sister had the same problem with another random ice cream on the bottom of hers. It’s a pretty building though.

The two girls working were above and beyond friendly, asked us about our travels to the city, recommended flavors, and which shops we should visit next. I ordered the coffee smoothie with vanilla ice cream, caramel, cheesecake and a double shot espresso. They added whipped cream for no charge. Very tasty!! We’ll definitely be coming back here next time.
