I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service we have received at your restaurant on several occasions. Unfortunately, this has not been a onetime issue, but something that keeps happening. On one visit, my mother was treated very rudely by the cashier, who even threw the change onto the counter instead of handing it to her properly. This was very disrespectful. On another occasion, my husband ordered pollo con tajadas. We both prefer chicken drumsticks and politely asked if it was possible to have all drumsticks. The person said it was not possible. My husband then offered to pay extra, and they still refused. We accepted it, but the attitude was not pleasant. Additionally, almost every time we order this dish, something is missing sometimes the sauce, sometimes the cheese, or another ingredient. The last time was the worst experience I ordered pollo con tajadas and it only came with the chicken y tajadas, without sauce, jalapeños, or cheese. As frequent customers, we expected better service and more attention to detail. I hope this matter can be taken seriously and addressed so other customers do not experience the same issues

Always check your bag before leaving this place! Wow what a terrible experience. The service was terrible and we were given undercooked food and the wrong food. They couldn’t find our order that we placed through their website after we had placed it 20 min before arriving. Then it took an additional 40 min for the food to be ready. We checked our bag before we left and they forgot items so we had to wait for that. When I got home I saw that our pupusas were still raw around the edges and one of the tamales had spilled into the bag.The sopa de res was lukewarm at best with a nice side of cold tortillas.
I called the restaurant and spoke to Daniella to let them know. I was informed that I placed my order wrong online and that’s why I had to wait (not true). She also claimed she expedited our food, which explains our undercooked food. The only solution she offered was to bring the food back immediately so they could see it, which I was unable to do at the moment. What terrible customer service. She was extremely unhelpful and I couldn’t believe she was trying to blame me. I would order from here all the time, whether we picked it up or had it delivered through DoorDash. They’ve consistently forgotten items when we order through DoorDash but at least DoorDash would offer a reimbursement. It’s a shame that they have bad service.

AVOID this place. Placed a big order for pickup and they had my order completely wrong. On top of that, we found black hairs all over our food. Called them the same day to discuss about our incorrect order and the hairs we found, no response. Called again, and of course they wouldn’t provide a refund or credit for the 20 tamales that were ordered, and instead they offered to provide credit for 3. What a joke. This place used to be good, but it’s gone downhill with the food quality and the customer service. We will make sure none of our friends and families support this business again.
EDIT: A store credit for the incorrect order of the tamales was requested, (not a full refund as they wrongly stated below) for the full order (as we had planned to give the place another chance) but our request was denied. As you can see, their response below plainly shows their attitude and lack of support for their customers. There are much better restaurants out there, avoid this one.

I have never had this experience while buying food from My Tierra. It was only two people in line, including myself, and it took them upwards of twenty minutes to take my order. Secondly, I have found a string of some sort in the red sauce I ordered. This is extremely disappointing, and now I must get rid of the entire meal. A refund would be greatly appreciated

This place was nice and clean. Let me start with that. I was in the mood for some soup so I ordered a chicken soup but it was not what I expected, the soup had almost no flavor, I also order some pupusas to go 5 revueltas 5 cheese and total and bill was $54.98 dollars I know things are expensive but give me a brake 2.99 for pupusas with no flavor I mean zero flavor. I ordered the chicken on the soup to be fried and guess how much that was 3.99 just for that request. The picture that you see here may seem like a lot of food, but it wasn’t. Go there at your on RISK and just to add if I had read the reviews prior on going there I would have gone somewhere else.

The Carne asada platter was delicious.

I placed an order around d 10:30am on 12/21/2024, I was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. 45 minutes later I still have no order.. the woman told me that someone stoled my order, and I knew that was BS because I overheard the woman preparing the orders telling her that she did not started the order because it was not pre-paid. Also I had to bring to their attention the other woman preparing the to go food was handling the lettuce, tomatoes and all items without gloves, or utensils, just bare hands. This place used to be good, now not so much. You lost us as customers
