I used to love going there but then I saw how cruel they treated young kids as if all of them are being bad on fridays. While they do get hectic I think that the way they treat the scenario’s are horrible to the young kids who have to experience this

I really dont know what happened to our Panera. Coffee is horrible, restaurant is so cold they need to hand out blankets. Onion soup in a bread bowl was lousy. Very little soup and no cheese. It used to be so good. Remodel in restaurant is pretty. Bathroom looks like Port Authority bus terminal. Sad.

It’s not worth paying so much for what Panera gives you.A dollar something for a slice of avocado and the size of the food compared to the pictures online and what their commercials show.I feel taken advantage of. Never ordering from Panera.

Unfortunately l havebto change my feedback, l go there cause l live next door and after leaving the gym l love having a tea and spend a nicenquiet moment, today it was the second time l go there and not hot water for the tea ok np, l asked for hot water to the guy at the counter but then, a crowd of noisy teens taking over the place to the point that a guy who was quietly working there on his laptop had to move away.

Rapid Pick-Up was indeed rapid. My order was placed on the rack as soon as I stepped in. Right on time, impressive! Vegetarians, vegans & flexitarians the Mediterranean Veggie Sandwich is a must try. I had it with all the veggies, no feta cheese …it was a delight. Surprisingly tasty for a vegetable sandwich!

I love Panera’s Mediterranean bowl, but unfortunately they often forget something at this location. Today, there was very little arugula and no bread. I wish the staff could check the order before handing customers the bag. There’s nothing more disappointing with take-out then finally sitting down to eat at home and realizing they messed up your order / forgot something. This has happened a lot at this West Caldwell Panera location.

Has lots of available table. You get your unlimited sip drink when subscribed and lots of food to choose from. Looks clean but tables are sticky while theres not much people they should take the time to make sure tables are clean and sometimes there are a little mess on the trash area but its okay. You can also work while eating but there is just a couple of outlets to plug in your laptop. Overall, ok place with a convenient location to shops, tjmaxx, cvs, laudromat, and shoprite.

Staff i think found my review while i was still there, they started cleaning but in loud way like flipping the table on the side like banging on the side making loud noise its the short hair blonde lady so I am changing 5starts to 2 bec of it. Will not go back here anymore. Will go to other panera instead.

Nice environment right in the center of the West Caldwell shopping centers.
Spent the Tim while waiting for my car been serviced nearby.
The coffee was out but the staffs quickly rebrewing another fresh batch.
Just noticed that there are nice painting hanging on the wall. A lot of patrons in the cool Saturday morning.

Disgusting! This is my second time ordering food from this restaurant, the first time was 2 years ago, I actually went to the place and found a super long white hair in my sandwich, 3 days ago my co-worker ordered from the same place by Doordarshan and I found what appears to be animal hair inside my sandwich AGAIN! (Images attached) please let me know what you think. My mother in law told me today that she also went there and found a hair, so that means they don’t take care of the place and the food they serve. I’ll never order from Panera again.

This used to be one of my favorite go-to places, with imaginative recipes always served fresh and clean with ample portions that represented good value. Unfortunately, the pandemic/post-pandemic economy has apparently affected this once-upscale restaurant in disappointing ways. My wife and I had lunch there today. Her sandwich wasn’t mixed per the recipe’s portions. I ordered a bowl of soup that was half-full (but they charged full price). This has become the rule at this location, not the exception. In addition, the dining room was slovenly, with visible garbage on the floor, and tables that were not being cleaned. I wiped the table that we sat at down myself. We won’t continue paying top dollar for meals that have potential but, in this case, remind me more of a midtown Manhattan fast food restaurant than an appealing cafe’.
