Burgers were excellent. I recommend “The Local” and “The Classic”. The card machine went down when trying to pay so had to pay in cash. Not a big deal. But it did take over 45 minutes for 2 burgers and a side of fries which was not ideal.

Sage is great. I think this is what people think when they want a solid burger. Their chicken and fries are fantastic, as well. If you thing you have to pick one or they other, I recommend not doing that and just ordering it all, if you can swing it.

If my body allowed it, I would eat here everyday. I try burger places in all of my travels, and Sage is by far, my fav. Excellent staff too. Some of the most friendly people drive this place. Very thankful for this spot!

Ate at Sage Eatery while in Pagosa Springs and had a great experience. The location is cool and the service was solid, though parking can be a bit tough. That said, the food more than makes up for it. The bacon burger was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had, and the fries were phenomenal — perfectly cooked and a generous portion. I’ll definitely be coming back.

I don’t usually go for food trucks… but this place is AWESOME! my kinda burgers and onion rings, quick service, friendly staff. Great tent to keep the sun off you whole your eating. Smell of fresh wood chips on the ground. I WILL BE BACK!

Sage Eatery is a great spot with delicious food and generous portion sizes that definitely leave you satisfied. The location is super convenient, which makes it an easy choice for lunch or dinner. Everything I’ve tried has been fresh and flavorful, and you can tell a lot of care goes into the food. The employees are friendly as well.
The downside is that they’re closed on Sundays and Mondays. Order was wrong, but I appreciate that they corrected it. Wait times are long – 30+ minutes for burger and fries. Overall, still a place I really enjoy and recommend.

We showed up at 1:00 and the kitchen was on hold, so we came back at 2:30 and all was good! We were not going to miss out on our favorite eating spot in Pagosa!! We are used to Kansas City barbecue but the brisket sandwich here is as good as any in KC! The Local is my favorite burger! All the staff is very professional and VERY nice too! This place is a must when visiting Pagosa Springs!

Just let me say, dang! It’s been a while since I have had a burger this good! And the fries, yummy!!! The staff is awesome! Very clean place, and the atmosphere is great and had some good music in the background.
The only problem is we live almost 6hrs away and now I am going to have to make trips now just to eat here! So worth it!

Don’t be in a hurry, but worth the wait time.
Walk up to place your order, it’ll be brought to your table when it’s ready. My hatch chili burger with pepper jack cheese was really good, the green chili pork fries were excellent (large portion, plenty for 2 people). Serve yourself drinks. I recommend you put this on your list.

The food was great, the atmosphere was fun! The double burgers are HUGE! Fries are shareable too! It took us awhile to actually get to try this place, but it was worth the wait! We will be back!
