This was my first time visiting Pupuseria La Estrella. The service, cleanliness, atmosphere and decorations are on point. My order consisted of a pupusa revuelta, yuca con chicharon and a tamal de elote(items were cooked to perfection and NOT greasy at all ). Everything I ordered was fresh and delicious, well, except for the curtido. The curtido was fresh, but it lacked flavor. This was disappointing since I’m a Mexican searching for delicious Salvadorian curtido, lol. In all, Pupuseria La Estrella has gained a new customer.

Customer service is great here. Walking in and smelling the deliciousness of the food makes you want it even more. The pupusas are a very good size and the plátanos are magnificent. A place you must definitely try! Pupusas will make you look like the last picture

I’m so glad I found this place. I use to drive so far for pupusas and eventually the quality of food lacked. The variety of everything I never got to try as a kiddo is on their menu. The pupusas are so big and tasty. The fried platanitoes are amazing with the crema. The Salvadorian horchata was so good. I got a sweet corn tamale as well. It took me back to my childhood. Can’t wait to bring my bf here

Huge Pupusas! My first time here and I was pleasantly surprised by the hospitality from Yanira (owner) and her son. The restaurant is very clean so that says a lot when you are in the food industry. The prices are competitive to similar restaurants however the portion size of the pupusas are above expectations. I ordered two pupusas revueltas thinking they were going to be standard size but I was very surprised when I received my order. They were perfectly cooked with the right amount of filling and you could taste all the ingredients (chicharon, beans &cheese). They are doing it right because some places you get too much masa or the blend is off. I’m definitely coming back for more! We needed a Salvadoran restaurant in the neighborhood and I’m glad it’s a Great one. Stop by and try it out you won’t be disappointed. Thank you Yanira !

Very good restaurant. The pupusas are top tier and they are a good size as well. Recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to buy some pupusas or any Salvadoran food in general. Very good food you feel like at home.

If you are looking for authentic pupusas, this is the place to go. The staff is very friendly, and their food tastes delicious. Their pupusas are the best I’ve had in the IE.

This small hole in the wall pupuseria is located in Colton off Rancho Rd next to dollar general market. The pupusas are really good, I would definitely recommend. They offer a few family deals for decent pricing for these delicious Salvadorian eats. If you are a fan of pupusas you know most aren’t cheap and although the pricing might seem lil much I can assure you they are worth it.

The food had no flavor, the arayan water was all sugar, the salsa was nasty and the repollo tasted like if they had it in the fridge for 3 months. Not good at all!
