If you’re looking for the ultimate brunch spot, Sweet Maple is it! We visited this weekend and were immediately obsessed with the ambiance—it’s so inviting, lively, and the perfect place to kick off a weekend.

Now, let’s talk about the food. I ordered the French Toast, and oh my goodness, it was absolutely awesome. Perfectly fluffy and easily some of the best I’ve ever had. My husband opted for the Fried Chicken Breakfast Sandwich; he said it was decent and definitely hit the spot for a savory craving.

The drink menu is where they really shine, though. They have an amazing selection of coffees, but the Ube Latte was the absolute star of the show. It was creamy, unique, and easily my new favorite.

Can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu! ☕️

I was very excited to come to Sweet Maple because the last time I tried Pimped Ramyun and it was good.

This time we ordered an avocado croffle $14, chicken croffle $25 and Oscar which is Dungeness crab egg Benedicts $34.

The croffle itself is good, we love it. The chicken part is very thin, feel it’s been overly breaded and overly deep fried. It’s dry and hard. But the worse one it’s the Dungeness crab egg Benedict. I was so regret to order it. I love egg Benedict and whenever this option is on the menu I always go for it. To me, the best part of egg Benedict is definitely the hollandaise, it’s the soul of egg Benedict, it should be creamy and rich. Here they add cucumber and wasabi in to it which tone it down. Unfortunately, hollandaise and wasabi doesn’t go well, at all.

It tastes horrible, not just it takes away the best part of an egg Benedict, and now you have very creamy, bitter tasty wasabi all over the egg, cover the taste of expensive Dungeness crab (then its pointless to order this one since you couldn’t taste the ocean). On top of that, the side of the mixed potato and sweet potato would taste better if it’s grilled instead of deep fried… I know there’s still people like it, it’s just personally I don’t enjoy it.

I recently dined at Sweet Maple in Palo Alto, and overall, it was a wonderful experience! The service was attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere on the patio was vibrant. I was also very pleased that all our dishes arrived hot and fresh—a great sign of an efficient kitchen.

The food, for the most part, was phenomenal. I absolutely loved the Millionaire Bacon and highly recommend the Marnier French Toast—both were perfectly executed and delicious.

However, I do have two pieces of constructive feedback that slightly impacted the experience. First, while I appreciate pet-friendly dining, there was one instance where a dog was actively on a table, eating directly out of a plate. This hygiene issue was quite off-putting and definitely caused me to lose my appetite momentarily. Second, unfortunately, my scrambled eggs were undercooked, and I ended up feeling unwell later in the day, throwing up only the eggs.

Despite those two specific issues (the table hygiene and the undercooked eggs), the rest of the meal and the superb service still made for a great outing. I would absolutely return to Sweet Maple, but I hope these important issues can be addressed to ensure a five-star experience next time!

Very popular branch place in downtown Palo Alto. They serve American comfort brunch with Asian fusion. There are many varieties on the menu and the portion of the dishes is huge. The decoration is cozy. The waiting could get quite long on the weekends.

The food was inventive and generously sized, loved the blueberry mochi waffle which was a hit with adults and children alike. I do want to highlight the service provided by the kind hosts and servers: after a reasonable wait time our group was seated outside. Even though there were heaters next to each table, unfortunately the weather was still too cold for us and the hosts accommodated us as soon as possible to indoor dining despite the large Saturday crowds. It made the whole breakfast much more enjoyable 🙂

Loved the ambiance! We were seated after a reasonable wait (on a Sunday — Saturdays might be different ;)). The food came out quickly, and I really enjoyed the fresh ingredients in my omelet. Definitely planning to come back to try more dishes!

When we arrived there were a lot of people outside but to our surprise it was only a 15 minute wait for 2. I had a benedict, my daughter had the ramen. We enjoyed our meal. I would definitely return and try something new! AND THE UBE LATTE WAS SOOOOO GOOD!!!
