Sushia on Western Ave right by Carl’s Junior, was closed for about a year. We always loved their sushi and their service. We were sad when they closed. They are back open again. We had dinner there yesterday and they did not disappoint. The food was fantastic. We arrived for an early dinner. They open at 5 and we were the first to arrive. As the restaurant filled up we witnessed each guest tell Christine, the waitress, the same thing. They missed the food and were glad that they are open again. If you’ve been there before please go back. If you’ve never tried it please support the owner Bill and his staff.

It’s in a nice strip mall. Flavor of all food was first rate. Well executed rolls but rolling technique was sloppy. We sampled eel and a rainbow roll. Salmon skin salad was awesome. Will go back. They could add some décor.

How could I have missed this gem for the past 15 years! great fast service! We really enjoyed our appetizers and rolls. We’ve always headed out of town to get fresh sushi, and now we know better!
So happy to see that the spicy versions aren’t full of mayo.

Food is always delicious…your soup at the right temperature… if you order crispy food it’ll be crispy…a good experience food wise…

This place is absolutely phenomenal. The tuna, and I normally do not enjoy tuna, melts in your mouth. Octopus was incredibly tender as well and very flavorful. I am already making plans to return.
🙁 I can’t add a picture to my review because I ate everything and this makes me very sad because it’s also v pretty, you’ll have to trust me on that

Quaint, intimate place with great sushi. We found the place by accident one evening (don’t let the nondescript shopping center fool you) and have been regulars ever since. Definitely try the 1/4 Roll.
You don’t have to be in a high dollar rent district to get sushi this good. Oh – and the lady who serves you is the happiest person you’ll meet. And she’ll teach you some Japanese too!
