Very juicy and delicious burger with rich, layered flavors. However, because it’s so juicy, it felt a bit greasy toward the end. The burgers are made to order, so expect a bit of a wait. The shop is simple and clean. I’ll definitely be back if I’m in the area!

Cool looking place with a fast service and uncooked patties. My top patty was literally raw. The flavor was questionable, more on a pepperish side. And the price was high – $20 for a small shake and a double cheeseburger. No soda. No fries. Just a burger and a shake. The interior and music were cool. Food is below average. Not recommended

After reading that Chowhound rated Hiho Burger as the best burger in Calif, I decided I wanted to try one for myself. And I must say the burger was delicious. But I loved the fries even more. And the vanilla shake, though small was truly flavorful. I enjoyed everything including the complimentary, help yourself water.

The big matty was an alright burger, but the fries were pretty addicting. The fries had a thin, crispy exterior while having a fluffy interior, and salted well.

I stopped by HiHo Cheeseburger in Marina del Rey around 3 p.m. on a Saturday, that magical hour when parking is neither impossible nor easy. The restaurant shares a gated lot with REI, which kindly validates two hours.
Inside, the vibe was steady but calm. I ordered the HiHo Double and fries, which arrived in a leisurely fifteen minutes, a dignified wait for 100% grass-fed, grass-finished Wagyu. The burger, though smaller than an In-N-Out Double-Double, was excellent: melty cheese, slow-cooked onions, and crisp lettuce. The fries were fine, but McDonald’s and the BK Lounge can rest easy.
At $10.45, HiHo is in a higher price category than In-N-Out and Shakeshack, but of comparable quality of taste. Worth a visit, but not at the top of my LA/OC burger rotation.

One of the best gourmet burgers I have ever had. Burgers are a little pricey but they are so worth it. Halal, wagyu burgers were so fresh. And their French fries are.amazing too. Overall loved the food and experience.

HiHo is one of my favorite burger chains in Los Angeles. I’m a huge fan of mustard grilled burgers and love that they do that here by default. They also have delicious chicken and their fries are seriously addicting. I would rank their fries up there with anyone. I have been to a few other locations, but this was my first time at the MDR one. Parking is easy because it’s attached to a shopping center with the first two hours free with validation. Inside is pretty large, enough to dine in, eat outside while you can see the boats and water, or get it to go. In terms of service the employees were polite, but our items did take quite a while to finish for two burgers and two fries. I will say the service time can be a bit slow, but I think the wait is worth it because of how good the food is.
For this visit, I ordered the Triple Cheeseburger, and a side of fries. It’s was large amount of food, but enough that a single person could finish it if they’re hungry. As mentioned, the fries are some of my favorite in town and I believe part of their secret is that they are twice fried, but honestly, they are seriously amazing. We also tried the Hot Honey Chicken and thought it was really good. It was extremely crispy, almost like a fried fish, but in the best kind of way. It was crunchy and sweet at the same time and just had really great flavors.
I would definitely recommend and will be back many times in the future because this is definitely one of my favorite burger chains.

Over priced, terrible service, and they repeatedly get the order wrong. I always order spicy onions but 90% of the time they only put regular onions with no spice. And this is a recurring problem. These people can’t even read a receipt properly and get the order right.

We popped into HiHo on some downtime from working at the SoFi stadium.
The smash burgers were really tasty but the fries were the star of the show.
It was a nice addition to see alcohol being served.
The Aircon could probably do with a service as it was roasting in the seating area and the outside area was full to capacity (which is always a good sign.)
Food is excellent but the atmosphere is very much McDonalds vibe.
