One of our favorite local places. And If you go home hungry you didn’t eat. The flair is massive portions of southern comfort food. Everything from Busicuts and Gravy to Chicken fingers. Omelets to steaks. They have something for everyone.

This place has the BEST pot roast I’ve ever tasted. My only objection is that it comes on a bed of mashed potatoes. I don’t really care for mashed potatoes anymore. Nothing against the restaurant, but my husband makes them almost everyday at home. Lol. I’m just burned out on them.

This was great food. I had bacon, eggs, hash browns, and one of the most delicious, light, fluffy pancakes I’ve had in a long time. Even though it was less than an hour until closing, the waitress was friendly, said we had plenty of time, and she did not hurry us at all. Great place in Cabot.

Just outstanding breakfast.
I was wanting pancakes but didn’t want to drive to North Little Rock or Conway. I also regularly eat breakfast at another local restaurant and didn’t want their pancakes. I jumped on Google and Peppermill came up. I saw a photo of pancakes and chicken strips and I knew right away I wanted THAT for breakfast.
It wasn’t on the menu, but I let our waitress know I wanted two chicken strips and two pancakes. My wife ordered a breakfast sandwich. We also saw some biscuits and gravy on the plate of another patron and we were tempted into ordering those as well.
We told our waitress, Andi, that it was our first time here and she said, “Well, get ready for a treat.”
Let me tell you, she wasn’t kidding. Everything was just excellent! The chicken strips are some of the cleanest, best tasting strips I’ve ever had and they paired perfectly with the pancakes. The biscuits and gravy were also excellent. My wife reports that she enjoyed her breakfast sandwich and hashbrowns. My coffee was very good also.
We noticed pies and some red velvet cake with cream cheese icing in the restaurant also. I just couldn’t do any more sweets, but my wife ordered two fried pies to go for her and our son.
I’m sorry I didn’t take better pictures before I dug in. I wasn’t expecting to write a review beforehand but after digging in it was just all too good to not say something.
I was honestly intimidated by the name “Peppermill” before I came. I’m not a big fan of pepper. But “pepper” isn’t anything more than just a name. Their food is all excellent and to my tastes.
I wish they were open earlier and later so I would be able to fit more visits into my routine, but I totally understand. I look forward to coming back and bringing others with me.

Where to start. Our server ( Andrea was name on our ticket) the server in the black shirt. choose to worry about dishes over service. We waited several minutes while we watched her scrape dishes down. When she finally took our order it seemed forever for the food to come out. We saw our food just sitting in the window. The other server had to tell her she had food needing to go out. She was once again dealing with her side work. Which is part of the job but paying customers come before side work. When the food came it was mediocre warm. This was our first time here. Pretty sure will be out last.

I felt as me and my husband entered we didn’t feel welcome, the server just pointed us where to sit, as she took our drink order, another server came by and took our order but never brought out drinks and had to flag the one server who took them and didn’t even remember. No one came and seen how we are doing, it felt like it was an inconvenience to even ask for utensils. I loved eating here after church but please work on the service.

I can’t say enough good things about this café—not only is the food amazing, but the people are even better. My car battery died in the parking lot, and without hesitation, the employees came out and helped me jump it. The car rental place a few doors down wouldn’t help me but everyone here was more than willing to help however they could. That kindness and willingness to go above and beyond made me a bit emotional! They turned what could have been a really stressful day into a reminder of how wonderful people can be. I’ll definitely come back, not just for the food but also because this place is clearly run by truly caring people.
