The bánh mì sandwich was delicious. The bakery‑made bread was outstanding, and the pork chashu was so tender.

I also tried the sourdough, which had a lovely depth of flavor from the koji miso and dried shiitake mushroom. The seaweed mixed into the dough was an interesting idea, though it might not be necessary since it can look a bit like mold and some people have seaweed allergies. Still, the bread itself was moist, chewy, and so flavorful that I enjoyed it on its own without any butter.

You can truly feel the care put into each loaf. Everything was genuinely delicious. Highly recommended.

A lovely, cute, delicious, taiwanese bakery! The owner is so sweet and considerate of all customers. I’m obsessed with the portuguese egg tart, just the extra amount of crisp goodness you need. I also had the iced strawberry matcha latte with oat milk and 75% sweetness, wished it had a stronger matcha profile (i.e different matcha powder), but overall great tastes.

Amazing baked and cooked foods with their own spin. Drinks, etc. If I had to write more words it would be further synonyms of the word Amazing and Delicious. First time trying this place and had 1 egg tart then needed to buy all the remaining stock that they had plus others like mooncake, taro and matcha breads. I love my Asian food and have tried many in the US, but this is honestly the most fresh, delicious, And unique. Super fair, if not cheap prices as well! I want to take the whole store home with me. Taiwanese and Vietnamese owned.

For those into Southeast Asian pastries and the random pastel de nata that happen to be near St. Louis, this place has the food they serve in heaven. Go there.
Having been to the countries that use the same ingredients, walking in here is like walking into the warm embrace of a warm bath or functional alcohol problem.

**1 thing-the sesame panna cotta is perfect. Those hazelnuts on top are a distraction at best.

The Foundry has the best bread I have ever tasted. I purchased a loaf of chocolate cherry bread and it blew my socks off. I was also impressed by the extremely reasonable pricing and friendly staff.

A Korean bakery with traditional US coffee and tea offerings (plus boba). Ordering was a little slow, but the prep time was fast, so total time was no worse than Starbucks – better coffee and tea than Starbucks, though. Delicious pastries and breads.

This is one of my favorite cafes I have ever found! I regret not taking pictures the orange bun and bacon and egg sandwich where both so good! Their prices are extremely reasonable! With the best cozy welcoming atmosphere! All food and drinks are made fresh and they absolutely reflect their love and care for their food and customers!

Customer Service!!! Customer Service is huge for me. The Foundry Bakery excels in all they do and absolutely set the standard in service. Now, the baked goods and teas are really top notch.
My personal favorite treat is the Miso Choco Walnut cookie, it’s dense and incredibly delicious. I appreciate that the prices include the boba, don’t miss out on the creamy Iced Coffee with honey boba! It’s the best I’ve had!
Don’t hesitate to check out this fantastic hidden gem in Maryland Heights just a few minutes east of 270 on Dorsett.
Love you guys! Keep on doing what you do! Cheers!

I came here on a whim after driving past this location for over a year on my way home from work. I live just around the corner from this adorable bakery. My friends had said the drinks and treats are amazing, so I was excited to try it out.

I chose a chocolate hazelnut cookie, and it was delicious. I’m not usually one for sweets, so a treat really has to blow me away for me to enjoy it—and this one did. Even better, the customer service here is probably the friendliest I have ever encountered. When I walked in, I was asked if I had ever been there before, and when I said no, I was immediately given a tour of all their offerings, as if I were a treasured guest. The hazelnut cookie spoke to me, and once I felt its heft, I was sold. A good choice. I can’t wait to try more.

True confession: Along with recommendations from friends who love this place, one reason I impulsively stopped in was because I wanted to see if they might collaborate with me. I have a small art side gig. Just minutes before, I had returned from a coffee shop that had displayed my charcoal and watercolor art for over a year—but had abruptly taken it all down without telling me. I only found out when I stopped in for a coffee this afternoon Since I had become very popular at the shop, you could say I was shocked—deeply disheartened and sad. I drove home with all my pieces sitting in the back seat.

So I pulled into The Foundry to try the bakery and to see if they might be interested in displaying some local art. I figured it was worth a shot, and in the worst-case scenario, I’d still walk away with a treat.

Even though I caught the owner completely off guard with my question, he immediately pivoted and asked to see my work. Conveniently, my entire gallery was in the back seat! I showed him a few pieces, and he chose one on the spot. As far as I could tell, I may be the first artist to ever inquire about displaying work in his adorable shop, but you’d never know it by how kindly and professionally I was treated. We even agreed to discuss displaying more pieces as I create them.

A bad afternoon turned completely around because of my impulsive decision to stop in. I’m so glad I did, and I will definitely be back to try their coffee drinks on my way to work. I know you’ll enjoy the experience too!
Thank you so much for your kindness and delicious treats. You’ve created a loyal customer.

Amazing breads, pastries and drinks. I had a watermelon lime spritzer, which was fruity and not too sweet and a variety of breads and desserts. All were unique and interesting and absolutely delicious. Cute atmosphere inside. Completely nondescript on the outside with a jewel on the inside. Don’t miss!
