Absolutely delicious. Pretty much everything we had was exceptional. Great selection of vegan dishes. The king oyster mushroom noodles were delicious. And the spicy edamame truly had a real kick to it – fair warning if you’re not into heat 🙂 I can understand why this place is almost always booked. Definitely recommend!

My boyfriend and I have been coming here once a month for the last half a year now, and every time the food is absolutely out of this world. The quality is so wonderful, the cocktails are delicious, and the food is just perfect. Isabella was our waitress tonight and she was so kind and helpful, really made our night all in all! We will continue to come here as our monthly tradition for our anniversary as it never disappoints – could not recommend this restaurant enough

I’ve visited on two occasions now and would certainly dine here again there is a great selection of dishes – small plates, main dishes, sides and deserts. The food is fresh and deliciously fragrant. Loved the complimentary Chinese tea and fortune cookies to start and end your meal. Would advise booking a table in advance as often the restaurant is busy and fully booked, even throughout the week.

Heard great things about this place before going so expectations were high and I would say it could be one of our new favourite dinner places in Inverness, however it’s not perfect. Cocktails were 10/10 and are a must try!! Food was also very nice – we had the bao buns to start with a portion of tempura and then had one tofu ramen and one beef ramen. Next time I would probably choose a selection of starters and skip the mains and perhaps choose a dessert instead as it was quite pricey!
The atmosphere could be improved by dimming the lighting and you have to book months in advance.

The best place to go for dinner in Inverness!! Always delicious, staff are always super friendly, and the menus are varied. The cocktails are also amazing! We always look forward to our bookings here, and can’t wait for the next time we visit 🙂

Finally managed to get a table after making a reservation. It’s hard to get a table as a walk in. Lovely staff, excellent food and a very nice cocktail menu with an Asian twist. Really enjoyed our meal and look forward to coming back next time we are in Inverness.

Went to Hou Hou Mei for the first time last night, and wasn’t disappointed. The service was fantastic. We had three ladies serving us, and they really made us feel special, nothing was too much trouble.
It had an authentic atmosphere, the food was delicious. Sometimes, when I’ve had oriental food before, it was too salty or heavy. This was flavoursome and light. We had green tea with our meal, which was a nice touch. The wine was excellent, and not too expensive.
Definitely, looking forward to going back.

Food was exceptional, we all got some small plates to share as a starter, although small every plate packs a punch. We tried a few plates, the salt and pepper cauliflower, Momo, chicken satay and another chicken dish, all of which were amazing.
Large plates were great and very generously portioned! Everyone was very full even before dessert!
Cocktails are a must try and is a great place to try something you haven’t tasted before! All very well presented and delicious.
I will be back! And highly recommend others to try!
