We ordered 2 Nashville hot chicken sandwiches
It could be a little hotter, but it is pretty spicy
For people with low tolerance peppers level
It juicing freshly made not too thick or thin
Good crunch, good, excellent size to eat

2 fried breaded chicken breasts with mashed potatoes with gravy on the side
Next, we ordered the chicken with cornbread stuffing
Same thang breaded chicken breast but served with cornbread ,cornbread stuffing was very good
The breaded chicken breast has good seasoning fried just right not overcooked
Good size, too, not over salty
Generous amounts of stuffing and mashed
Got 2 side homemade gravy for the chicken dinner . It’s really homemade and tasty, too
Also got the Collard greens and Mac cheese
Their mac cheese is a little different, not the regular elbow pasta, i think they used rigatoni
Collard greens a little sweets for me

Damn! This is GOOD! These guys are serious. They know their food..Whoa! Huge sandwiches, Mac & Cheese to die for! Unbelievable taste and more food than you can eat. I heard good things, but it was better!!! Only thing I wish they had was tables to sit down and eat there! Awesome!!!

I look forward to eating this food about every 3-4 weeks! 15/5 stars on the food is not enough! Heck, even the owner will tell you straight up if a modification isn’t a good idea – they truly care about the food and quality they serve.
My one complaint is they changed to go boxes. I LOVED that they had the thicker cardboard to go boxes…why? Because those boxes absorb the steam and the food doesn’t get soggy! Bonus points; they also absorb any residual grease. Unfortunately, with the recent change (hopefully just a back order) my 15-20 minute drive was no match and my food was not up to the normal standard they provide. The oil absorbed into the food and the food was overall soft and not the texture I’d prefer. I’ll have to eat in my car moving forward because the food is absolutely banging, and I don’t want to sacrifice the quality to drive home.

My craving for some fun loaded fries led me here and man did they exceed my expectations. The food looks exactly like the picture on the menu and is amazing. The fries were seasoned to perfection and the chicken had a delightful kick. We will be back!!

Wowzers!! This place came recommended by a friend and did not disappoint. My husband and I were floored by not only the kind, attentive service by the staff, but also with how incredibly delicious the food was. We ordered the Yard Bird with a side of Mac and cheese. Some of the best fried chicken we have ever had. The Mac and cheese? Still drooling. We will be back!

Tried out a newish local spot called Nashville Detroit. It’s been open for I think around 9 months. I was able to go two different times and me and my husband tried a couple different things. We met the owner and he was very nice and he shared his excitement for making good food and having a carry out spot because he is focused on the food and not all the other things involved with running a restaurant.
When you walk in you can tell that the place is clean and airy and I like that you can see the cooks making the food. Everything is made from scratch.
The first time there I had a Nashville Hot Fish sandwich and let me tell you that fish sandwich was fire. Literally and figuratively. Lol The spice was real. I like spice so I loved it. I also tried their Sweet Grilled Corn that was pretty good. My husband also got some loaded fries with mac and cheese and chicken called Nash Mac Fries. Overall, he liked it, but because the mac and cheese wasn’t that great, it took away from the loaded fries. If you’re looking for a traditional mac and cheese, this is not it. There was some type of sauce drizzled on top and if you look at one of my pictures closely you can see the sauce drizzled on top of the dry pasta. It’s definitely not a lot of sauce and it’s not blended in with the pasta.
The second time there we ordered Catfish Bites, Collard Greens, and Corn Bread Stuffing and a Cow and Piggy Burger. The catfish bites were spectacular. They tasted fresh and they had a cornmeal batter that wasn’t too thick. The collard greens were delicious They were well seasoned, and I’d love that they weren’t overcooked. The stuffing was also very good and well seasoned but it was just a little dry. It would be excellent if gravy came with the dressing. It’s available on the side but we didn’t notice that until after. Usually cornbread and gravy are served together so we thought it would be included. My husband liked his burger and of course the fries are crispy and well seasoned.
We’re happy to have found this spot and we’ll definitely be back again in the future to try other things on the menu. Pro tip. Definitely order ahead so that you don’t have to wait for your food.
