Ok, this was a Friday night buffet with breaded fish (average at best), fried shrimp (large, evenly-breaded, actually good), cole slaw, macaroni and cheese, potatoes, green beans, corn, haluski, pierogies. Most of these side dishes were bland. We were not greeted by a waiter or waittress. It seemed disorganized. So if you are really hungry on a Friday night and you are not too concerned about the quality of the food, this is a place for you. I recommend that you try other places for fish.

My wife and I live in the neighborhood and we had fish dinners from the dugout on a Friday during lent. The portions were very nice pieces of fish, and I had a yummy bowl of halushki. No complaints from me or the Mrs, and the owner is one of the nicest people I’ve met around here. She is very friendly, and she always says hello when we see her around.

The Dugout is Not very family oriented. We went for the Fish Buffet, Food was decent for the price. The Inside is Very outdated and not very clean, the Outside of the building is literally falling apart. Also be advised if you are brave enough to try this place, they Do Not take Cards, Cash Only!

First time I’ve ever gotten fish from here and I have to say it was the best I’ve ever eaten along with the halushki mac & cheese. The whole meal was great. I will be going back.
