Came here after seeing all the delicious pictures. I usually don’t stray far from classic dishes because the basics say a lot about a restaurant. Portions were generous and pricing was decent.
The Pad Thai looked great visually, but the noodles were overcooked and broken into smaller pieces, and it was missing peanuts. The flavor was very bland—I kept adding fish sauce to try to bring it to life.
The sour seafood soup was good but also needed fish sauce. The Thai fried rice was begging for soy sauce or fish sauce as well. Something just felt off tonight.
The Laos-style papaya salad wasn’t pungent or spicy at all. I ordered medium spicy, but it came out mild. I had to add quite a bit of fish sauce and chilies to suit my taste.
Overall, the service was good, but the food lacked flavor for me.

Our first time trying this place. It was so good. Thd only negative party was, they were short on staff today. It took longer than expected it. But we didnt mind, because the server had let us know in advance. All the food we had ordered was delicious. The flavor reminded of me when I was in Thailand this year. I was very happy. Im definitely coming back again to try other dishes.

We were part of a large group of around 15 people. Everyone had apparently ordered long before we arrived and of course their meals arrived first. There was only one waitress to take our order, so it took a while for me to flag her down to bring me water and utensils for me. I ordered Pad Thai and my SO ordered a seafood Pad See Ew. A little pricey for the portion size but the food was good.

I had crispy chicken with rice, and tried poached chicken in curry with noodles, and the yellow curry. It’s all pretty solid, I think it’s good if you’re looking for a more rounded sweet flavor without being too much. Bathroom is very clean, staff is helpful and friendly.

We had our late lunch today at Fam Thai Street Food. Google said it’s nearby, and not yet open, good thing I called. I learned they just opened five days ago. It’s located next to Gold Miner Cafe.
I ordered the Tom Kha Soup, and my husband ordered the Krapow Kai Dao. The soup has the perfect balance of coconut milk and seasoning—I love that I can taste kaffir lime leaf and galangal root, along with plenty of carrots, mushrooms, and chicken. My husband mentioned that the Krapow Kai Dao had just the right amount of salt and spice. Personally, I will add a bit more spice to the meat because I love spicy food. We both appreciated that the food was rich in flavor yet not oily.
If you’re looking for a new Thai place, Fam Thai Street Food is a great choice! Plus, they have cute wall art, too!

First time to this restaurant, and I highly recommend. The boat noodles taste flavors and my son love the appetizers dish. Thai ice tea drink was good not to sweet.

Today I had the chance to try a newly opened Thai restaurant, and it instantly reminded me of my trip to Thailand. The first dish, Khao Kha Moo, had tender, melt-in-your-mouth pork that tasted just like what I had in Thailand years ago — and it’s hard to find this dish around here. The second dish, Boat Noodles, was equally delicious, with a rich and flavorful broth that wasn’t overly sweet like many Thai places. I finished it so quickly, and I think this place is going to be my new regular spot.

I came here for lunch and was seated right away with a water and a smile. The food came out super quick, hot and fresh. I got boat noodle and pad thai. First I thought the boat noodle portion was kinda small, but turned out, the beef was thick juicy cut and there was plenty of them, soft and tender and the flavor just popped in your mouth. Very impressed with this bowl. I added more sauce and chilies so the more I got to the broth the saltier it was. But the host was so kind and came check on me and she offered to fix my broth for me. Very welcoming and authentic. The pad thai was impressive as well, all the flavor was there, not too dry not too saucey, just the right amount. Can’t wait to come back to try their fried chicken and rice. Great authentic little Thai place in Folsom!

Lovely Thai restaurant! The egg rolls were a hit. And the steak was bomb! The tom kha was one of the freshest soups I’ve had. Sunday lunch we had the place all to ourselves. Great service. We will definitely be coming back soon again

After trying several Thai restaurants from Folsom to Placerville, this one is the absolute best. I also appreciate that the music was low enough that you can have a conversation. The prices are very, very reasonable. The atmosphere and service are great, too. I will definitely be back–this is now my go to place for Thai food.
