Literally got a $5 minimum and my chicken nugget and french fry only cost $2 I’m starving I will never step foot in your store again when you have a loyal customer you do what you can to keep them happy I am true to my word you will never receive another penny from me and I will get all my people to stop coming there too I am an OG when I say feed me that means feed me been in business 20 years and you still have a $5 minimum If that’s the case you need to work on getting a different payment processor that doesn’t charge you as much or it doesn’t mean pay the little $30 $40 a month to keep your customers tax-free they’re going to keep coming back put the extra work in I don’t care how long you been doing it you choose to do it everyday

Hands down the best Chinese food I have ever had in my life. The take out is super quick, and always hot and fresh. The market has every kind of drink and snack you could ever think of, it’s awesome. Most importantly the couple that own and run the food mart are amazing and so nice!

Seriously the best chicken fried rice I’ve had in a really long time. So sad I didn’t get a large. Definitely will next time. Very nice people. Quick efficient service. I’ve been looking for a place like this by my job… So happy to have finally found it

Being new to the area, this small Family owned business has quickly become a reliable favorite! Their facility is clean and convenient with curb appeal. The service is friendly & reliable. Some of the best Chinese food I’ve had in a long time. One of the very few places that carries my hometown favorite Vernors gingerale! I’m a long term customer for sure

One star is being kind for this place. This is absolutely the worst Chinese food I have ever attempted to eat in my life. Lo Mein had no flavor, no sauce, and I’m not sure what the meat was. All I know was I ordered chicken. One bite was all it took for it to end up in the trash. The sweet and sour chicken, well one word GREASE! And my wife’s shrimp lo mein tasted like it had been rolled in dirt, and the shrimp tasted rotten and old. What a waste of $30.00. Should have just went to Hot Heads and got a killer burrito. Never again.

We have ordered lunch and dinner in the past and was shocked after last nights experience. The crab meat wraps were so hard & overcooked we tossed them out. Then on top of it… we had to pay an extra 4.00 for duck sauce bc they don’t offer any dipping sauce… WoW!!
The Shrimp w vegetables had a great flavor Unfortunately the vegetables consisted of thin slices of onions & celery slices. What happen to the Chinese veggies ??? Really!! We spent 27.00 last night which including 4.00 for the dipping sauce
The owner needs to acknowledge, appreciate the customers that patronize him by and stop being so tight… You have a good thing and word of mouth is your best advertisement

The food is amazing. That’s why this place gets 5 stars.

The store itself is crowded with merchandise, somewhat disorganized, and the stuff is pricey. You come here for the food, not the shopping.

That being said, the food is also expensive for Chinese takeout. It’s amazing but still more than I’d expect. Don’t give you a ton either.

Small neighborhood store with a huge variety of foods. Some of the things I found there are really impressive, such as the Heluva Good chip dip that is usually only available at big grocery stores. If you’re a kid, or an adult with a sweet tooth, they have a great candy section. They also have a great variety of drinks. They also carry non edible household items and you can play the lottery there. It truly is amazing what they have to offer. Although I haven’t ordered many items on their menu (mostly sweet and sour chicken, General Tsos chicken and sesame chicken), they have some of the best Chinese takeout I’ve ever had. Their General Tsos and Semame chicken are the best in town, in my opinion. To top it all off, the service is top notch. The owners are super friendly and are very welcoming. I am 45 years old and I remember these type of stores were around more when I was a child but sadly they are a dying breed. I truly feel fortunate to have them in my neighborhood and I will remain a loyal customer for as long as they are there. Truly a hidden gem.
