Food was good but service, not so much. We waited almost 40min for 3 plates of food. We also had asked for sharing plates, but never got them. So we ended up just distributing the food between the larger plates themselves which was quite sloppy.
Chips + salsa appetizer was nice but the salsa was a bit watery, so everytime we tried to scoop from the salsa, it would just drip all over the table. It would’ve been nice to have some smaller plates to help catch the dripping, or a less watery salsa.

The food here is delicious. I tried the vegetarian options they are great. The chicken is also very tasty. I like their salsa and service is great.

Food was delicious and plenty of it. We got the fajitas for one and it was more than enough for one person. The flour tortillas were almost melted in your mouth delicious. I highly recommend the fajitas. My wife got the street tacos, which were excellent as well. The service wasn’t the best, but I saw only one staff for the entire restaurant. Would’ve been nice had they checked on us after we got our food to make sure everything was OK because we definitely needed more napkins.

Sergio’s Family Mexican Restaurant is a rare gem. The food is profoundly authentic, layered with flavor, and prepared with a level of care and precision that rivals any five-star restaurant in Washington State. As someone of Mexican origin who lived in Mexico for over 20 years, I can say without hesitation: this is the real thing.
Every dish arrived perfectly executed. The chicken was impossibly tender and deeply seasoned, the vegetarian dishes vibrant and thoughtfully composed with the finest ingredients, and the refried beans and rice tasted exactly like a Mexican home kitchen rich, comforting, and flawless. The enchiladas and cheese-filled poblano peppers were outstanding, and the beef fajitas arrived sizzling, crisp at the edges and juicy at the center. It was so good that even our pickiest eater cleaned her plate. Our party of seven ordered across the menu, and not a single dish missed.
Beyond the food, the staff’s warmth makes you feel genuinely welcomed, and the space filled with beautiful, authentic Mexican art, is spotless, inviting, and full of soul. Do not skip dessert. This restaurant is worth the drive and an absolute must for anyone who truly loves authentic Mexican cuisine. We will return every single time we are anywhere near Sequim or Port Angeles.

Food was absolutely amazing but I just wish the service matched what’s crazy is that they were super attentive when we first sat down and ordered but then when we ordered just one meal so we could share because my husband wasn’t that hungry they thought we were being cheap and that we weren’t going to tip so they didn’t even bring my husband a plate to eat on. And the three different ladies that helped us and asked what we needed didn’t come back one time the dude who took our order in the beginning we never saw him after he took our order which I thought he was our server this other lady which was a completely different lady from the other three that helped us came and asked us if we were good and we were already done with our meal. Very confusing and weird interaction like I said which is pretty sad because the food was banging but just because of the weird experience I don’t think we’ll be going back.

We ordered chicken fajitas, tamales and guacamole, and all the dishes were pretty good. The service was okay since the staff didn’t give us water until we asked them, and it took a while to get our food & get our check later. The atmosphere was cozy. Overall, it’s a good stop before we entered the Olympic National Park.

Party of 3 went for dinner on a Monday evening in July. We had done a few hikes earlier in the day, so were pretty hungry. Service was quick and friendly. I had the steak and chicken combo with burrito and loved it. Very filling, and delicious.

We were in a group of 5 last night for dinner. We have all eaten at Sergio’s several times. The service is wonderful and friendly. The food is always very good with one exception… the chips are cold, not fresh. But the salsas and sauces are excellent. Everyone enjoyed the meal, and we had a great time visiting. We’ll be back.

We were seated no problema! Our servers were very attentive, kind and accommodated our children. Food was even better with plenty of options and a homemade taste vs that commercial kitchen version of Mexican food. Will be back!
