The menu is surprisingly sophisticated with a number of offerings I’ve not seen at other places. That said, the simple bacon, egg and cheese tacos I had this AM show the care they put into their dishes: ample, fresh sharp cheese, homemade tortilla perfectly toasted, and plenty of egg. Just perfect. And manager Alfredo was very gracious in answering my questions about their menu items, just fantastic service. A rare gem for sure, highly recommend.

We loved the food here! A bit on the expensive side but we were extremely full at the end of the meal. The tortillas were a bit undercooked but if you ask for it to be toasted they will do it. The drinks were delicious . Recommend this place

The breakfast was delicious. They just started serving breakfast. I highly recommend it.! we often went to IHOP but decided to try this place to save time. The pancakes are better here than an IHOP! Also, the food was delicious. I had the eggs with peppers and rice and beans and flour tortillas exquisite flavor watch out the iced tea Is it pricey thing. other than that everything was great.

This restaurant is good, however the service was a bit slow (only 2 staff running the floor). I ordered the cheese enchiladas and they were extremely spicy (almost inedible – and I’m someone who loves spicy food) – granted, we were warned by the waiter that the red sauce on the enchiladas would be very spicy. The rice and beans here were to die for – absolutely delicious!!! I would like to come back and try something else here.

I ordered the create your own torta, with beef fajita. It came with cilantro, purple onions, black beans and cheese oh and sour cream. It was delicious, bread was soft and buttery and easy to eat. Food was tasty and our server was kind.

I was feeling a bit of a head cold and wanted traditional mexican soups so bad. This restaurant was a wonderful surprise and I am so grateful. The soups tasted almost like home, except we are not from the owner’s region of Michoacan. We had the Caldo de Res and the Pozole (delicious) and it came complete with fresh toppings, limes and warm tortillas. The aguas frescas tasted homemade and the waiter and owner were delightful. You can really taste the love put into the food. Only thing that might make the experience better is some Mexican karaoke (or some other fun group activity for a party), or some investment in fun or on theme decor but that is extra for sure. I will definitely be back.

This is hands down my favorite Mexican restaurant. It’s family-owned and locally run, and you can truly feel the love they put into everything they do. Every dish is made from scratch, and the food is always fresh, flavorful, and authentic. The family who owns it is incredibly friendly and personable- you can tell they genuinely care about their customers, and it’s special seeing them all working together. Amazing food, amazing people, and a place that really feels like home.
We especially love the tortas and the Aztec quesadilla, but honestly everything we’ve tried has been amazing. We’re also so excited to try their new breakfast menu! Highly recommend!

Came in tonight for dinner and a margarita with some friends after a long day of work. I am so impressed by absolutely everything about this place. My margarita, delish! Most refreshing margarita I’ve ever had. Queso, so good we had to order it twice. Dinner, even better. I will be back regularly. Best place in Austin I’ve had yet.
Also thx to Alfredo who was an excellent host tonight, he gave us the whole run down of who they are and how much love they put into their food. And it speaks for itself. Go try immediately!
