Attended a quaint lil wedding at Indian Springs State Park. The betrothed couple had booked reservations here. Gotta be honest. I read the reviews on the way and had concerns.
Anywho, we had NO ISSUES. The restaurant team was GREAT! Friendly. Attentive. Glasses stayed full (my one major peeve at any eating establishment). Food was outstanding and even as large as our group was, it pretty much all came out at the same time and was hot.
So the get off stage answer you’re looking for… No – we ain’t from around there but, Yes – we’d eat there again.

Newly renovated and looks lovely. Food was so delicious. I had the salmon and it was cooked perfectly. Staff was very attentive and the overall dining experience was delightful. We will be back. Cheese grits were also good. Hamburger was hand pattied and delicious.

Service was great. The staff was super friendly and always ensured our cups never went empty.

Onion rings and mozzarella sticks amazing. A must order.
Bacon cheeseburger was good but most definitely way over cooked.

My biggest complaint the chicken wings. Not lacking flavor by no means. Bringing the wings out warm and no pipping out. Really disappointing.

Brought the family here, we weren’t expecting much based on the menu but was still let down. The decor reminded me of a house that has the “live laugh love” sign on the wall, which is a shame because it is a beautiful building with a gorgeous bar. As far as drinks go, not much to get too excited about, two drafts and some cocktails and all of the decent beers are served in a can without a glass. We ordered the chicken quesadilla, kids bacon cheeseburger, kids boneless wings, philly cheesteak and chicken sandwich. The chicken quesadilla was served with a tube of sour cream and tostitos salsa in single use packaging, kinda cheap looking tbh, could have been served in a ramican at least and the quesadilla was pretty flavorless. The kids cheeseburger was plenty large enough but had no condiments and we had to ask for them which came in the form of packets of mayo, mustard and ketchup. The kids boneless wings were as you expect, chicken nuggets that tasted like they used Lowery’s teriyaki glaze. The chicken sandwich had three pieces of overcooked chicken that was dry and of course came with no condiments on it, packets of condiments again. The philly cheesteak was good but barely had any meat on it and a precut hoagie bun. All of the food came with fries which were claimed to be “hand cut” but tasted frozen and were soggy as all get out. The prices were reasonable for the quality but we realized very quickly that were were eating American deli on plates. The service was slow and inattentive. We saw the server spill multiple beers on the floor as she was walking them to the table which she didn’t bother wiping up, she even accidentally poured beer on our 7 year old son and said sorry and walked away without trying to wipe the seat that he was sitting in. When I was done wiping the seat off she walked by and said “I’ll get you a rag”. The overall experience was pretty poor which is a waste because the location and amazing building really is appealing and a very cool space.

“Welcome to Bradley’s on the Square
– A Jackson Tradition, Reimagined.”
Reimagined, a buyout many of us have experienced, the death of a golden goose, a birth of something sinister…

TLDR: someone thought gutting an iconic restaurant and replacing it with a cheap imitation would be a great idea.

Y’all, I love giving positive reviews to amazing places, but I absolutely hate giving negative reviews, especially to places I’ve frequented for the past 4 years. I first came to Bradley’s Tavern for my 25th birthday, I had no idea of the lore this place had with what was a popular TV series that I STILL have not seen. The food was amazing, staff was on time and professional, it was a small town gem. Fast forward to today, I had no idea that Bradley’s Tavern was not only remodeled, but also under new management. I was ABSOLUTELY upset at the way the current owners GUTTED the Tavern that held so many memories in my heart, and as many reviewers have mentioned, it feels like the soul has been sucked out of Bradley’s.

While it only took about 30 seconds for the girl at the door to seat me and my grandmother, we waited an additional 5 minutes to get drinks, which then took another 5 minutes to bring them to the table. I decided to get a pimento cheese burger with bacon, a simple enough meal that came with optional sweet potato fries, my grandmother got chicken tenders as she only eats the smallest of amounts of food. Y’all, it took them FIFTY minutes to bring us a burger and tenders, mind y’all, they were only at 50% capacity. While my burger was well done as requested, the patty looked like it had been microwaved, there was the minimal amount of pimento cheese on this burger, it looked like there was maybe a tablespoon of cheese on the burger spread to make it look like it had adequate cheese spread. The buns were toasted, yet cold to the touch, and the sweet potato fries had a taste as if they were pulled out of a Publix bag and rapidly air fried. The atmosphere is changed completely, the friendly inviting tavern has been replaced with a bog standard burger joint that every southern town has had pop up in their area within the past 5 years, mediocre, bland food, and an atrocious wait time. Don’t let Bradley’s on the Square fool you, it is NOT the Bradley’s Tavern many of us have come to know….

Stumbled upon this place for dinner. It was really great! Service was terrific also. We shared Jackson burger and wings. Both were really good. But star was fresh pork skins with pimento. So yummy!! We will back!

Tonight was our first time dining at Bradley’s On The Square. The food was excellent and so was the service. The pork rinds with the wicked pimento cheese are a must try. As a former wing restaurant owner I can’t wait to go back and try the wings next! I love the fresh new look inside. It is bright and clean, but like the fact that they kept the large wooden old school bar.

We called in an order to go, was ready in 15min. Service was friendly both over the phone and upon picking up. Food is great with substantial portions. Hand cut fries are great just need a bit of seasoning for perfection. Jackson burgers are huge! Crispy fried okra and buffalo shrimp are great as well. Can’t believe we waited so long to try this place, we will definitely be back!

We had been here before the remodel and loved the atmosphere. Were driving through and decided to stop in. Unfortunately, the atmosphere and food is not the same. All the charm has been removed in the remodel. The wings were greasy and the mango habenero tasted like it had been made with raspberry jelly, not a mango habenero wing sauce. Fries were bland and greasy. Overall very disappointed with everything we ordered! Wish we had kept driving.

The food was pretty tasty. My wife had the Mayor Burger, and I had the hamburger steak. Both had a good flavor, and they were cooked to order. Great place to hang with your friends. We will come back.
