This is by far the best location in Boston. The food tastes the best, the portion here are very generous and the staff is very welcoming and friendly. The pickled onions are a must try. Their bowls and burritos are immaculate and the restaurant itself is designed the best way out of all that I have been to. Them having an app is also very helpful they fulfill your order within 5 minutes and they work so fast that regardless of the line inside you’ll get you food within 10 minutes. The place itself is clean including the bathrooms and I only go there every day after my classes. Definitely recommend checking them out.

My son asked me to get him some of their spicy sauce on the side of his bowl (instead of in his bowl) because he wanted to see if he likes it. The cashier told me they would charge me extra if they put the same amount of sauce on the side rather than in the plate. Absurd! And customer-unfriendly. Pity because it’s otherwise a very decent place.

Honestly, out of all of the jefes in the area, this has to be the worst one. Every time I get bowl or a burrito, the portions are so small. And when you ask for a tiny bit more, the staff argue that they will charge you extra. Not worth the money. I’d recommend going to a different El Jefes. You will regret spending your money here.
