Do not recommend. Came from out of town for a few days. We heard the food was good so came to eat. No one greeted us, we sat ourselves, about 3 mins later a guy sat down menus and walked away and sat back at the bar. Never asked if we wanted a drink. We were completely ignored. We got up and walked out. Everyone watched us get up and they didn’t say a word. I guess if you are white or mixed, you aren’t welcome here. Horrible service and left feeling very uncomfortable

Full experience review: I called the restaurant to make sure they were open (weather was very snowy). The person who answered the phone was very nice and informative of my order, very pleased. Driver got here in Record time despite road conditions. Sadly, the side Salad was the best part of my meal (can’t really mess that up) the side of Chicken Wings – Alitas were over cooked (which I like) but dry although nicely seasoned, the Pork Belly. was a bit over cooked as well and hard to chew but again well seasoned. Overall, I will most likely not order from here again.

Since my visit to Puerto Rico last year, I’ve been on a mission to find true, authentic Puerto Rican food and this restaurant is the go to place!! I ordered the fried chicken with a side of yellow rice and pigeon peas. DELICIOUS!!!! The vibe of the restaurant was very welcoming also. I can’t wait to come back and try more!

This place is definitely tucked away – if you’re not careful, you’ll pass it. From the front, it looks more like a home in need of some repairs, but it is a perfect neighborhood diner. Food is decent/ flavorful (very traditional) and well presented and service is OK. Absolutely worth trying

Saturday night, we arrived by Uber, four of us ,guys. So we’re prisoners. The music was way LOUD. Really, it was loud. We had to yell to be heard to the person next to you. We felt like fish in a fish tank. Sitting there waiting for food. Waiting one whole freakin hour. Did I say the music was loud? The atmosphere is that of a local joint for locals. Visitors will feel like an outsider. People were nice, no one was rude, waitress took our order quickly then disappeared for an hour. So we waited, and waited.
Food was very flavorful, delicious. I’m Puerto Rican, not shy.

We had beef stew with rice and beans, chicharron with tostones, queso frito and maduros, and chinola and morir soñando juice. Everything was really tasty and the waitress was very attentive. Also, the meat portion was generous. Really recommend this place.
