My boyfriend and I moved to the area back in October and are huge sushi lovers. We are pretty specific about what we like when it comes to it and this place has never failed us! We’ve tried a couple other restaurants, but we were not satisfied; we will always come back to this place. We come here quite often..almost weekly The ambiance is quiet and calm. The workers are welcoming and kind; attentive without being intrusive. We have tried their ramen and almost all their rolls. Our favorite sushi rolls are Godzilla (fried) and Angry Dragon! We are still trying to see which roll fits in our top 3! It’s clear the kitchen takes pride in what they serve (see pics). I highly recommend stopping by

Great ramen and sashimi! The soup base for the spicy Tonkostu Ramen is kind of special compared to other places. It has a little bit sweetness. The Sashimi on rice is not the menu but highly recommended.

The omakase was $100 after tax and tips, and the quality isn’t what it used to be. It feels like I’m eating sushi from some random $30 Japanese buffet. The server was nice, but the sushi chef needs to go back to cooking school and learn. Not recommended unless u want to waste $100.

The best Ramen I can get in Philadelphia area, the soup is delicious and non salty. I also tried their sushi, which are also great quality. All are better than any similar place in the local area. Will order regularly

This is hands down the best Japanese food I’ve had all year. The sashimi was super fresh, and the tuna tataki had an amazing smoky flavor. The baby yellowtail was fantastic too. I’m pretty picky when it comes to fried chicken, but the fried chicken here gets a perfect score from me. The highlight, though, was the spicy tonkotsu ramen. The broth was rich and packed with flavor, and the chashu had just the right balance of fat and lean meat. What I really loved was that the spiciness wasn’t over the top but blended smoothly into the broth, adding flavor without making you sweat. If you’re around KOP, you absolutely have to check this place out!!

It was like gods calling to me. He whispered in my ear urging me to go out of the city and to travel far and wide for the most delightful and marvelous experience ever. I was swept off my feet and arrived at Mochi Sushi & Ramen (BYOB). I ordered the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen, with incredibly tender pork chashu, crunchy kikurage (a type of fungi), mushrooms, brussel sprouts, leafy bok choy, a delicately soft boiled seasoned egg & scallion, and a excellent chili oil (pork broth). The wait time was amazingly fast, in the span of minutes they provided me with my order along with a side of their upmost sparking ramune soda in their glorious cooler, with hints of blueberry and ample carbonation and notes of sweet perfection. I was so pleased that I happily ate my meal in peace, with great ambiance and a melodious background. The waiter even provided me with extra soup and more spice free of charge. What an angel! As I was eating my Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen, I broke down the descriptions of the dish itself for others to see.
Pork Chashu: Divine slow-cooked soft meat that melts in your mouth when you take a bite. For once, I thanked the pig who had sacrificed its life for a bowl of ramen, as the soft buttery belly fat was rich and tender.
Kikurage: Crunchy, addicting pieces of morsel ive ever ate. Chopped thinly to your pleasure. It was amazing and I couldnt had asked for more when it came to it.
Mushroom: No comment.
Brussel Sprouts: No comment.
Bok Choy: A beautful leafy green, home to asia and its wonderous rich culture. The vegetable was perfectly boiled to the right texture and eating it made me feel like I was in an enchanted garden of life, eating the finest I could had veen provided.
Soft boiled egg: A delicate and wonderful addition to my ramen. Its addition makes the meal lively and delicious. I wished I had more to enjoy.
Ramen noodles: The noodles were cooked al-dente with a chewy texture and the ingredient that mattered the most in this meal. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw the long stretchy noodles that happen to be made by a chefs hand and was very pleased with the excellent precision of the noodles.
Spicy Pork Broth: A hearty and flavorful soup that is milky in color and unami in taste. It was like the cook was a cheribim who gracefully touched the bowl and its contents with love and magic.
Conclusion: The Mochi Sushi & Ramen (BYOB) is a wonderous and fantastic experience to enjoy authentic Japanese culture and has the magnificent decor and item selections for you to choose from. I was surprisingly pleased to enjoy such luxury food for low prices, as it was 17$ a bowl. God has made an effort to feed us in order to achieve peak happiness and freedom. Yes, I recommend this to all my friends and family, as this is a memory I will not forget.

This spot seriously impressed me. Mochi Sushi & Ramen delivers big on flavor — the tonkotsu ramen was legit, rich and packed with just the right amount of heat. The sushi and sashimi were super fresh and really well done. The staff was on point — friendly, quick, and professional. Cool, laid-back vibe inside, and the BYOB option is a solid bonus. Definitely coming back soon.
Let me know if you want it more casual or formal.
