Nobody was wearing gloves, hair not secured, cigarettes on the counter where food is distributed. This place was grossly maintained. Flour all over the floor. I’m from ATL home of the original Papa John and this truly an embarrassment to the pizza community. I wouldn’t eat here if it was free.

Man, I really dislike writing bad reviews, and even after reading the others, I decided to give them a chance, but it’s a hard NO! As a mother trying to give a treat now and then to my family, I thought this was cost efficient enough to give them a try, but they played right in my face. Our wings were like mini nuggets, and the cheese bread was thinner than the pizza box. Also, all the toppings on the pizza were placed right in the middle, and everything was so greasy that we had to clean the counters numerous times. Threw the chicken and cheese sticks away. Called, but no answer. Very disappointed, especially since we aren’t poor tippers.

I am so upset right now. I have been waiting on my food since 11 o’clock. I am a mother of five my children did not get their pizza. They had me waiting all way until 2 o’clock in that morning and also when I call I was trying to understand But they did not care. I do not recommend getting pizza from here at night. They will leave you on no call I’m very disappointed in you, Papa John’s.

The takeout experience here is definitely something to write home about. We ordered online and were waiting outside the store, since the website showed our order wasn’t ready. Soon, we were greeted by what looked like a 12-year-old kid, who casually planted a wet sneeze right into his hand. He asked for the name on the order, and, somewhat worryingly, what the order actually included. A second kid soon appeared and asked us the exact same questions, before inviting us to wait inside.
As it turns out, the store seems to be run by a crew of 12-year-old lookalikes. Except, instead of running the store, they were mostly hanging around and chit-chatting. One of the two adults, pants hanging low, headed outside for a smoke break just as we walked in. The other adult, a lady, was half-buried behind shelves making pizzas. Meanwhile, flies danced among the pizzas like butterflies among flowers.
While we waited, one of the kids came over, apologized for the (not particularly long) wait, and offered us an extra pizza for free. We declined the generous offer, but did grab a soda with his permission.
Before long, our pizzas were ready. To our surprise, not only was the order correct, but the pizzas were really good—so good that we happily pushed aside our concerns about child labor, hygiene, and the whereabouts of the actual owner (possibly tied up in a back room?) and dug in.

I had been wanting to try this Papa Johns location for a while. But, as I was walking by on Friday night, I saw a gentleman in the back that was wearing a hoodie tossing the raw pizza dough. Between each toss, the pizza dough lied on his hoodie sleeve, up to about maybe half his forearm. As someone who works in the food industry, this concerned me just in terms of hygiene and food safety. Just concerned about hairs, lint, and anything else that could be on the clothing as it did not seem to be BOH clothing, it looked like a regular lounge hoodie, but I could be wrong.

Highly recommend ordering inside. One of the most unique fast food experiences I’ve ever witnessed. Walked in, waited for half an hour to order. I didn’t mind the wait because I didn’t realize this location offers dinner and a show. There was a large, intimidating man, absolutely crashing out while violently making pizzas. Cursing and tossing things around like a child. Truly hilarious and entertaining performance. Then, to wrap up a truly stunning performance, he walks over to the counter and yells “your order!” With no indication who’s order it was. You just had to know he was talking to you. I will certainly return next time I feel like food made by someone who wants to murder me.

I don’t know who is making the pizza these days but the quality and taste is getting poorer each time. I use to love this store pizza when they first opened it and it became my preferred store. In just a few months and it’s becoming trash. I ordered the the fiery buffalo chicken (small) like 2/3 weeks ago and its was good. ordered the same thing today (medium) and I got disappointed. Sauce taste super salty, and crust very light weight. The chicken toppings or whatever, I don’t know if they are actually counted before baking. This is not the kind of Papa Johns pizza I used to enjoy on the Delmar. Not going back.

I saw they were open as I was headed to insomnia cookies so I placed an online carry out order. Says order would be ready between 9:40-9:50pm. As I’m walking across the street I get a notification my order was cancelled. The Workers standing outside waiting on their rides. Website said they don’t close until 1 am on Sunday. Thanks for ruining my night
